Lily Allen was questioned for five hours at LAX and told that her work visa was revoked because of her arrest from the March incident with the paparazzi according to the Daily Mirror. She told the paper, "I am trying everything I can to sort this out. I don't like letting my fans down." She is saying she doesn't want to let her fans down because she is due to tour in The US in September.
"It is my intention to play my American dates in September.
"This depends on the authorities granting me a new work visa.
"I want my fans to know that I will do everything I can to be back in America in September. I don't like letting my fans down and this is a situation that I am sure we can sort."
I am just curious, isn't Lily Allen the same singer who canceled two tours in The US mid-tour because of exhaustion. How will anyone know the difference if it is because of the canceled work visa or because she was home sick?
Lily Allen was arrested for an incident she had with a photographer back in March according to The Daily Telegraph. A Scotland Yard official confirmed the arrest, "At 9.30am yesterday, a 21-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment. She was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. She has been bailed to return on a date in late July." Could you imagine if she did time over this and Pete Doherty is still free.
It is one thing if the no smoking was in a foreign language but it is the universal picture for no smoking so what is Lily Allen's excuse except she is a schmuck who doesn't care. Gotta be interested in what she does because it always makes a statement!
