So tonight is the season finale of Lifetime's top rated show ever, Army Wives! Army Wives will conclude its season at 10p on Lifetime and OMG it is a must watch! I got into this show about 4 episodes in, and boy I am glad I did because it has proven to be one of the best shows of the season. And not to be undone it ends the season with a bang! It is a powerful episode that holds your attention until to the credits and leaves you wanting more and thankfully there will be. Boy if there wasn't I would be pissed after the way tonight's episode ends.
If you have never seen the show before, it is too late to start with tonight's episode and work your way back!
State of Mind premieres tonight on Lifetimes at 9p. State of Mind is the like Grey’s Anatomy but instead of a hospital it takes place shared psychiatrists’ office. The show stars Lili Taylor who finds out her husband (who has office in the house) has been cheating on her. It also stars Derek Riddell as Dr. James LeCroix as unconventional child psychiatrist and all I can say is they need to give him more of a role in the show if they want to keep me watching. I tried to like to this show, but something about it just didn’t work for me. Considering I will be watching the show before and after this (Side Order of Life and Army Wives) on Lifetime, I will probably watch this because it is on in between them.
Side Order of Life premieres on Lifetime tonight at 8p and I have to admit I really like this show. The show had me at Jason Priestley, but by the end of the pilot he was just one of the many reasons why I will keep watching this show. It is sweet, touching, funny, make you cry and all in all it will leave you wanting more. Side Order of Life stars Marisa Coughlan as Jenny McIntyre, who was last seen on Boston Public as a photographer for a magazine who is now seeing more than just the picture in her photographs. She is engaged to Ian Denison (Jason Priestley) and it is about to walk down the aisle with him, or will her wedding day nerves postpone their nuptials. Jenny’s best friend, Vivy Porter (Diana Maria Riva) gives her some life altering news that will change the way Jenny sees everything and changes who Jenny who is for the better. I was not sure what to expect from the show from the trailer above, but seriously there is so much more to the show than just that. It is the perfect show to go with Lifetime’s huge hit Army Wives.
No shocking news here, but Lifetime has picked up it's highest rated show of all-time, Army Wives for a second season according to Michael Ausiello. I got into the show by accident and I am glad I did, it really is a great show! It is an original show with an original premise which is rare these days, plus the cast's chemistry is amazing. If you haven't seen the first season, of Army Wives don't worry it is only mid-way through the first season on Sunday's at 10p.
When Army Wives premiered on Lifetime, I missed it. But when all this news came out how well Army Wives did in the ratings, I figured I had to check out the show. And boy I am glad I did! This show is original, fun and touching. There is just something about this show that is a perfect for Lifetime and a summer Sunday night!
So tune into Lifetime today at 4p and catch the first five episodes of the highest rated show in Lifetime’s history!
