Cup Noodles is finally going to be microwavable!!!
October 27th, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

I love Cup Noodles, but I hate having to boil water and add it to the styrofoam cup. And coming early next year, I won’t have to do that anymore. That is because Nissin Foods is finally switching to paper cups and will be able to microwave the meal with the water inside the cup.

“Since its invention more than 50 years ago, Cup Noodles has become a cultural mainstay and a staple in households around the world,” said Michael Price, President and CEO of Nissin Foods USA. “And while Cup Noodles will continue to have that same satisfying taste and iconic look, we continue to find ways to evolve the brand to support the current needs of our consumers, the environment and the world. This updated packaging and the new paper cup marks an important milestone for Cup Noodles and a key step in our environmental commitment.”

My life is so sad that this news made my week. Who else is as excited as I am?

Coffee mate is one of the Mean Girls
October 3rd, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Today is Mean Girls Day, and Coffee Mate is celebrating it by making a huge announcement. Coming in January, they are releasing their first pink-colored creamer in honor of the movie’s 20th anniversary.

“We’re not a regular creamer; we’re a cool creamer. That’s why Coffee mate is thrilled to debut the category’s first-ever pink creamer with Paramount’s iconic Mean Girls movie,” said Leonardo Aizpuru, Nestlé Vice President of Brand Marketing for the Beverage Division and Business Unit. “This partnership gives our fans a chance to add a splash of pink to their coffee as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of this nostalgic, quotable film.”

So what does it taste like? It will taste like “cake filled with rainbows and smiles.”

And if you want it, you are going to have to run to the store to get it because it will only be available for a limited time.

Would you possum flavored candy canes?
October 2nd, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

In the good old days, candy canes tasted like peppermint. But now they taste like everything under the sun, thanks to Archie McPhee.

The candy store, with a twist, added three new flavors this season and they are possum, Dante’s Inferno, and gravy! We know what gravy tastes like, but what about the other two? The Dante’s Inferno one is described as having a hint of demonic spice, while the possum has a porky flavor to them. What that means, I have no idea. So, I hope someone tries a box for $6.95 and tells me.

I grew up in major cities, so I have never had any form of road kill. But, if I were to try one, it would be possum because they are ugly mother fuckers who deserve to die.

Would you drink Buffalo Pepsi?
September 28th, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Pepsi has a drink they think the Buffalo Bills fans will enjoy, and it is called Buffalo Pepsi.

What makes it so special? It is Pepsi with a tablespoon of Buffalo sauce.

I love Buffalo sauce so much that I drink it sometimes. However, I would never put it my Cola. Would you? Because it just sounds so nasty. Although, maybe with lime, it might work.

Want your house to smell like Little Debbie snacks whenever you want?
September 1st, 2023 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Do you love the smell of Little Debbie snacks before you eat one? Well, now your place can smell like that.

How can you make that miracle happen? Little Debbie teamed up with Goose Creek to release 12 candles that smell like their yummy little cakes.

The scents are Oatmeal Creme Pie, Honey Buns, Nutty Buddy, Strawberry Shortcake Roll, Zebra Cakes, Swiss Rolls, Fudge Rounds, Pumpkin Delight, Cosmic Brownies, Fall Party Cakes, Christmas Tree Brownies, and Christmas Tree Cakes.

Which candles are you going to buy? I don’t believe in discrimination, so I am going to try them all. That is unless you can gain weight by burning them.
