September 1st, 2008 under Heroes. [ Comments: 2 ]

Yes you read that right, we will not get one hour of Heroes when it finally comes back on September 22nd on NBC, but 3 whole hours! Yes NBC is giving Heroes the full night to come back to TV after 9 long months!!!

NBC’s award-winning drama “Heroes” celebrates its Sept. 22 return, 8-11:00pm ET, with a one-hour Countdown Special and action-packed, shocking two-hour season premiere (two episodes, written by creator/executive producer Tim Kring, airing back-to-back).

HEROES: COUNTDOWN TO THE PREMIERE SPECIAL PRESENTED BY SPRINT — A WALK DOWN THE RED CARPET AND INTO THE EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE PARTY WITH THE CAST — Sept. 22, 8pm ET — To celebrate “Heroes” special two-hour Season Three premiere, with two action-packed episodes airing back-to-back, the cast of NBC’s award-winning drama hosts a special one-hour countdown special that will take viewers behind-the-scenes and down the red carpet, through the ropes and into the exclusive premiere party at L.A. hot spot Edison. As the last minutes before “Volume Three: Villains” tick down, an assortment of special, never-before-broadcast segments will highlight special moments, review key details, and reveal some fun, all-new information about the worldwide phenomena’s past two seasons, including a review of possible suspects in “Who Shot Nathan?”; a peek at how some cool special effects sequences were pulled off; a look at the series’ increasing global popularity and sample of some of the many languages the series has been translated into; an exclusive reveal of the series’ many inside nods to “Star Trek”; and much more.

I can tell you I saw the first episode of season 3 and all I have to say is wow! The old sweet loving, wannabe hero Hiro and the evil brain stealing Sylar are both back as they were and should be and I can’t wait to see how their characters will play out in Volume III: Villians! One other thing I will say about the the first episode of season 3 is we will finally see something that we have always wanted to see and it is better than you thought it could ever be!!! Does that make you want to see the 3 hour event on September 22nd? I know it has be sitting on the edge of my couch!!!
Can’t wait until September 22nd for more Heroes, don’t worry season 2 is available on DVD now and you can get new weekly online graphic novel chapters, current webisodes and information, promos and much more on NBC’s Heroes’ site! Seriously the webisodes are great fix until the 22nd!
Yatta!

Are Hayden Panettiere’s parents the new Lohans?
August 11th, 2008 under Hayden Panettiere, Heroes. [ Comments: 1 ]

(photo from WireImage)
Hayden Panettiere's dad was arrested this morning for allegedly hitting her mother according to The Insider
Alan Panettiere, 49, was taken into custody at around 3:00 a.m. in West Hollywood, according to a police booking report, which lists a bail amount of $50,000.
When I saw this story, it reminded me of all the turmoil Lindsay Lohan went through with her parents and I wonder if The Panettieres will be the next Lohans. Plus in ways I think Hayden is on her way to being like Lindsay, you know being 18 and dating a man 13 years her senior, their relationship still grosses me out.

Band From TV is putting on a free show this Saturday
August 5th, 2008 under Band From TV, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Lisa Edelstein/Hugh Laurie/House. [ Comments: 3 ]

Band From TV, that is appropriately named because the Band is made up with people From TV, is putting on a free show this Saturday at The Autry National Center in Griffith Park. For years I have been saying I am going to see them live, but I have never done it. That was until now because I am going to to do it on Saturday. If you are in the LA area, you should also do it because not only can you see some your favorite TV stars, but they are actually really good.
If you have never heard their music, listen to it on the Band From TV's MySpace and make sure to come out and support them on Saturday at The Autry National Center at 7p!!!
