Watch the first look at The Pitt’s next shift
December 16th, 2025 under HBO Max. [ Comments: none ]

The Pitt was this year’s critical darling, bringing home five Emmys, including one for the show’s star Noah Wyle, and next month the medical drama returns for its second shift.

THE PITT is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working a shift in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.

The trailer shows that it will not be easy for the doctors and nurses of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center during their next 15-hour shift.

Season 2 debuts on January 8th and concludes on April 16th on HBO Max.

Lisa Kudrow’s son is making a Comeback with her!
October 3rd, 2025 under HBO Max. [ Comments: none ]

Back in June, HBO Max announced that The Comeback was coming back for a third and final season.

Since then, the streamer revealed that Tim Bagley, Matt Cook, Jack O’Brien, and Ella Stiller are joining the cast.

Today, they added John Early, Barry Shabaka Henley, Abbi Jacobson, Tony Macht, Brittany O’Grady, Zane Phillips, and Julian Stern to the recurring guest star list.

That last name might not sound familiar to you, but Kudrow knows it very well. That is because she and her husband, Michel Stern, named him Julian in 1998. That’s right, the child that Phoebe was pregnant with on Friends is all grown up and acting!

And this time, when he has scenes with his mom, we will be able to see his face, instead of him hiding in her belly!

HBO Max did not share what he will be doing on the anticipated season. I am hoping that his character is dating Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s daughter, Ella’s character. Let the Nepo babies date!

And talking about dates, The Comeback comes back in 2026,

It: Welcome to Derry will haunt your dreams!
September 23rd, 2025 under HBO Max, Stephen King. [ Comments: none ]

HBO Max just released the first full trailer for It: Welcome to Derry, and the It prequel looks frightening. So frightening, it makes the It movies look like a children’s party!

The streamer has been pretty hush-hush about what the series will focus on besides Pennywise’s past, and now we know why. The more mysterious, the better…and creepier like the killer clown’s smile.

Welcome to Derry scares your screens starting on October 26th.

Halloween got a little scarier this year, thanks to Welcome to Derry
July 27th, 2025 under HBO Max, Stephen King. [ Comments: none ]

Be prepared to see a lot more parents trick-or-treating with their kids this year, because Welcome to Derry is going to scare them into doing so.

I called my friends after watching this trailer, and I told them my nieces are not going alone. Then they watched the trailer, and agreed!

Who knew the prequel series could be scarier than the movies, but it appears to be. Because of that, I will be watching it on HBO Max in October.

The Comeback is making another comeback!
June 27th, 2025 under HBO Max. [ Comments: none ]

In 2005, we fell in love with B-list actress Valerie Cherish, so much so that we didn’t forget about her even though The Comeback was cancelled after one season.

Therefore, in 2014, the cable channel gave us what we wanted and brought her back for a second season. But once again, they pulled the plug on the actress’ show after one season.

And yet, we still never forgot about her, and we have wanted more. Today, HBO announced that she will be back for a third season.

Creator Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow quote: “Valerie Cherish has found her way back to the current television landscape. Neither of us are surprised she did.”

Production begins this summer, and the “final season” will debut next year. But will it really be the final season? We will find out around 2035.

As excited as I am for The Comeback coming back, it won’t be the same without Mickey Deane, Robert Michael Morris, who played her lovable best friend, passed away in 2017.
