Even though ABC cancelled Nashville; CMT not only saved it for another season, they are sticking with it. The network announced today that they picked it up for their second and the show’s sixth one. The 16 episode season will debut early next year.
But wait, when will the show be back to finish off this current season. They announced today that all new episodes will start airing on June 1st, so mark it on your calendars. What can we expect when it returns, here’s what the press release says, “The midseason premiere picks up 10 weeks after the events that unfolded in the midseason finale. Deacon helps Daphne with a school project, but Daphne feels unmotivated. Juliette gives Maddie unsolicited advice about a song. Scarlett and Gunnar receive news about the baby.”
I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to the Rayna-free episodes. I just they were all Juliette, and bad Juliette to boot!
Hayden Panettiere took her daughter with her on trip, and then Kaya told her she had to go to the bathroom. Thus, the mom took her to the lavatory but the two year old missed the toilet and peed all over the floor.
While some celebrities would make the stewardesses clean it up, the Cheerleader got down on her hands and knees and did it herself. Well, not totally, Kaya also helped her out. Which means her sweet little girl isn’t going through the terrible twos. At least not in this awwwwwdorable photo.

Last week, ABC cancelled Nashville and yesterday the season (possibly series) finale ended in major cliffhanger.
It seemed like everyone was going to get a happy ending on Nashville, but then the episode ended with Juliette’s plane going missing 90 miles from the city. Is she alive or is she dead? We don’t know and we were starting to think that we might never know.
But then after the show aired, Lionsgate TV Tweeted that they won’t leave us hanging because there is more to tell. Sounds like they might have someone who is interested in picking up the Nighttime Soap.
Which makes yesterday’s cloffhanger perfect for them. Depending on who picks up the show, will most likely decide Juliette’s fate. Even though Hayden Panettiere is the best part of the show, she is also probably expensive. Depending on how much money their new home has, will probably decide if her plane crashed or landed safely. Although, there are a few people I would like to see killed off before her.
Had the show come back to ABC, I assume she would’ve survived because there is no way they would let her go. But since it isn’t, I don’t know what will happen.
When it comes to where it might land, I am rooting for CMT and/or MTV. Both networks can do cross promotions with the show, a tour and music videos. Something CMT has already been doing.
