Today in London, the Guinness Book of World Records‘ Tallest Living Man, Sultan Kösen who is 8’3″, met the man who is in that same book as the Shortest Living Man, Chandra Bahadur Dangi who’s 21.5″; and their meeting is of epic proportions. To see their height difference like that is quite incredible and fascinating. Doesn’t it just put a smile on your face?

Paul Hunn is in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the Loudest Burp and today he demonstrated it in their offices during their anniversary party. Something, I am so sure, The Burper King’s mum is so proud of her son’s accomplishment.
Part of me wants to warn you to turn the speakers down before you hear his record breaking 109.9DB belch; but then the other part of me is like turn the volume all the way up so you can hear it in all of his glory. It truly is glorious.
Personally, I still think that Revenge of the Nerds’ Booger’s (Curtis Armstrong) burp was so much more impressive, but Hunn’s still blew me away. I am sure, if I was standing near him as he did it, the force of his burp would’ve literally blown me away.
BTW I wonder if he was drinking Guinness at Guinness to create that marvelous sound?
Antanas Kontrimas holds the Guinness World Record for Heaviest Weight Lifted by a Human Beard. The man from Lithuania got in the famous book because his facial hair was able to hold a woman who weighs 140 lb 16 oz, for over five seconds. How someone discovers they have that talent, I don’t know. But he did, and he gives new meaning to she’s his beard.

Gene Simmons brags about the length of his tongue being 7″ long, but it is not listed in the 2015 Guinness Book of World Records. Nick Stoeberl’s nearly 4 incher is the record holder in the 60th anniversary edition of the book that is out now.
The California native boasts that not only can he touch his nose with it, he can also lick his elbow. When you are done trying to touch your elbow with your licker, come back to read the rest of my post. I know you tried because I did the same thing. It’s instinct.
Now back to record breaker, as a woman, I don’t know if I should be impressed or scared. I think it is a little bit of both and a whole lot of curiosity. Although after reading this Tweet from him “My tongue is so advanced I can taste fear. I kiss my girlfriend, and I taste fear.”, I am suddenly more scared of it than impressed, but even more curious! Alan Edward Labbe’s Afro is so groovy, that it’s a Guinness World Record holder. The Massachusetts resident’s curly top measures 5.75″ in height, 8.5″ in width, and boasts a circumference of 5′ .75″.
How large is that? The Jackson 5 dreamed their hair could get that high at the height of their careers. Shack finds it a crime, he couldn’t compare to Alan. Bob Ross would think it is so beautiful; he would paint a tree on it somewhere. LMFAO’s Redfoo would sing Sexy and I Know It to the ‘do! And Questlove will want to get to Roots of it.
Seriously, how beautiful his that head of hair? Now, I want to know what the key to his locks is. How does he tame that mane? I bet it has to be a chore, but it is well worth it because it totally works on him.
Labbe isn’t the only record holder in the 60th anniversary edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, there are many others.
