Fox, aka the Gordon Ramsay network, is sticking with the MasterChef. As in, they picked up MasterChef for two more seasons.
Ramsay will twice again be joined by renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich and acclaimed chef and entrepreneur Tiffany Derry for seasons 16 and 17.
“Securing a two-season pickup for Seasons 16 and 17 is huge news and a testament to the unstoppable momentum of MasterChef. A massive thank you to FOX for always opening doors and inspiring new creative ideas to keep the series fun and fresh,” said Michael Heyerman, SVP Unscripted Original Series, Endemol Shine North America & Executive Producer. “We have cooked up two absolutely great themes for the new season that fans are going to love. We’re thrilled to be back in the kitchen with Gordon, Joe, and Tiffany, building on the incredible chemistry and high standards they set last season!”

When Gordon Ramsay is not in the kitchen, he is outside in the sun. Because of that, the MasterChef revealed that he had recently been diagnosed with skin cancer.
“Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you,” he wrote, “Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend ❤️I promise you it’s not a face lift! I’d need a refund…….”
As someone who comes from a family with skin cancer on both sides, listen to what he said. Wear sunscreen, and make sure to have your moles checked. Basal Cell Carcinoma is very curable if it is caught early.
Hopefully, Ramsay caught it early, and the doctors got it all.

Just when you think that Fox has enough Gordon Ramsay shows on their schedule, they add another one.
Today, the network announced that on May 21st, the MasterChef is going undercover in Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service.
In a Gordon Ramsay series first, Chef Ramsay will venture into struggling restaurants under the cover of night. With the help of a secret source on the inside, he’ll gather raw, unfiltered evidence and get a 360-degree view of the major issues facing each restaurant. This insider will not only remain a secret to the staff, but will also help Ramsay infiltrate the restaurant after-hours for a dramatic nighttime black light kitchen investigation that reveals more filth and grossness than ever before. By the time Ramsay reveals his identity, it will be too late for staff to cover up their culinary crimes. Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service will be his toughest assignment yet as he takes drastic measures to transform not only the restaurant but also the staff, because Gordon knows he can upgrade the menu and renovate the restaurant, but the most important change has to come from the people. Are the restaurant and staff willing to accept Gordon’s mission, or are they too far gone to be saved?
Secret Service joins Ramsay’s other shows Next Level Chef, Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, and Kitchen Nightmares on Fox.
Aarón Sánchez joined MasterChef during season 8, and he has been the worst part ever since! He made the show almost unwatchable for me with his unprovoked meanness. Well, today, Fox announced that their home cook competition series will be back for season 15, and guess who is finally missing? That’s right, Sánchez!
Instead, Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich will be joined by Tiffany Derry (Top Chef, Bobby’s Triple Threat, Great American Recipe).
“I’m beyond excited to join MasterChef as a judge for Season 15, which is unlike any other. For me, cooking has always been about passion, precision, and heart, and I can’t wait to bring my perspective to the table alongside Gordon and Joe,” said Derry. “The season challenges h,ome cook duos in a whole new way, and it was so fun to see them rise to the occasion. Get ready for some incredible food, tough love, and maybe even a little spice!”
That is not the only change. This season, for the first time in MasterChef history, pairs of home cooks will participate together, in hopes of becoming America’s next MasterChefs. From married and dating couples, to mothers and daughters, siblings, best friends and even divorcees – relationships are tested in some of the toughest challenges to date. Plus, to make things even more difficult, the dreaded Pressure Test makes an intimidating return.
It will be interesting to see if the duos will still be talking when the season ends because it is one thing to be friends or family at the start of the competition. But competition can bring the worst out in people.
