Elijah Wood was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and he told the story about meeting a fan at Quiznos. Now it isn’t their chance meeting that was worth him mentioning, it was the fan’s description of their encounter that Glozell posted on YouTube that was worth him barking about it. You have to watch the first video as the Hobbit describes their moment and then watch the second one where she talks about it.
After you are done, I think you will have a better understanding why celebs don’t like to pose with fans while they are out and about.
BTW you can watch Elijah Wood at 10p during the season finale of Wilfred tonight on FX, will he finally be one up on man’s best friend??? And more importantly will Glozell still be his best friend after she sees it!
Tonight at 10p Wilfred debuts on FX and you are going to find this quirky comedy something to howl about. Ryan (Elijah Wood) is a down on his luck guy who has having sleep issues and trying to kill himself. His neighbor Jenna needs someone to look after dog Wilfred and comes to him. Only problem for Ryan is he sees Wilfred as human dressed in a dog’s costume who can talk with an Australian accent. So just from that description you know this show is gong to be interesting, and in a weird way it works. Wilfred becomes his BFF and Ryan learns dogs really are man’s best friend. The interaction between the two of them is great because most of the time Wilfred is just like a human giving his buddy advice and then other times he will do things just like a dog. It is just odd enough to be normal. Especially since Jason Gann, who created Wilfred back in 2002, plays the man/dog so perfectly. If all dogs were like Wilfred, I might just have one instead of a cat. So watch one of the most original shows to come to television since Small Wonder tonight and every Thursday at 10p on FX.
Fame Pictures
Elijah Wood was photographed enjoying a day at the beach with a man dressed up as a dog and I have to wonder if he has something to tell us? Is he Lord of the Rings and Lord of man’s best friend? Nope he was just filming scenes from his upcoming comedy Wilfred with James Gann. I have to admit after seeing these pictures, I can’t wait to see the show when it comes to FX in June. But that was before I saw the trailer and what Wilfred does that poor Teddy Bear just scarred me for life. Poor Teddy…:( Actually who am I kidding, I want to see the show even more now!
The League is back for its second season on FX Thursdays at 10:30p and that means we will get more of Taco and his one-of-a-kind songs. Those songs during season 1 ranged from him telling a little girl in explicit details how she came into the world as a birthday song to Vagina Hubris and they are all written and sung by Jon Lajoie.
I recently spoke with Jon at the premiere and he told me what is coming up for season 2 of the hysterical show about a group of friends who have a fantasy football league. He described it as, “Season 2 is Season 1 accidentally took acid and ended up at a Grateful Dead concert. It’s season 1 and its the same thing, same issues, still grounded and same characters but it goes places that I’m very proud of. A lot of insanity is happening in season 2.” And yes there is a lot of insanity happening during season 2 including new songs from him. He told me we are getting 6 new songs from him this season. Although he can’t tell me anything about it, he did hint to me that we have to be on look out for a phrase that he will be turning into a song towards the season. So write these two words down “Vinegar Strokes” because in a few weeks that will have us in uncontrollable hysterics!!!
Imagine coming up with a song for the two words “Vinegar Strokes”? Well he shared with me his process for writing the lyrics to the songs he sings on the show! I don’t know what I like more Taco’s character or the songs he comes up with on the show? I think I am going with Jon Lajoie! So take a few minutes out of your day and check out his music videos on his site and make sure to watch him tonight and every Thursday on FX at 10:30p! I promise you won’t be disappointed by either!!!
Get ready to have your jaw hurt from laughing so hard during the upcoming seasons of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League. Both shows are back on FX tonight starting at 10p and they are just as wrong as ever.
In the next 4 episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 3 of them will get married…and divorced and 1 of them is pregnant? Can you guess who is going to have a baby? Hint it isn’t Danny DeVito or is it? Even though there are some life altering changes going on for them, they still continue to make us feel guilty laughing at the outrageous things they do. Things we could never ever do in our own lives because we have a conscience, but that doesn’t mean we still can’t enjoy laughing at!
Between 10:29p and 10:30p take a deep breath because you are going to need it. Right after the Sunny goes down, the game is on with The League. You don’t have to know anything about Fantasy Football Leagues to enjoy this show because I am not sure they even know anything about it. Season 2 of The League picks up with them getting ready to pick their teams for the new season, but they are down a member. Jenny rallies to join the team, but there is another guy also competing for the position. Who will make The League? You will have to tune in to find out because there will be a lot consequences with the decision. And you also have to see what Andre did with his award, and let’s just say he will become one with it tonight in a way you can never imagine. Oh and did I mention tonight’s episode was filmed entirely in Vegas, so you can gamble this episode go to the craps in the best possible way!!!
So give your jaw workout tonight and every Thursday at 10p for an hour with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League!
