Damages adds another Oscar winner to its cast with William Hurt.
The role on Damages marks the first time in his illustrious career that Hurt has signed on for regular series television. He reunites with Glenn Close for the first time since they shared the screen 25 years ago in the acclaimed film The Big Chill.
FX also confirmed that Glenn Close, Rose Byrne and Tate Donovan are returning for season 2, but no word yet what Ted Danson's fate is with the show. Damages will be back on TV early next year!
Courteney Cox broke the news to TV Guide that FX cancelled Dirt. Even though I am upset about the show getting cancelled, she added that David Arquette and her are developing all kinds of things now. Hopefully the stuff they are working on is as good as Dirt.
Dirt is coming back on a new night on Sunday, March 2nd at 10p according to Variety. While the show was picked up for 13 episodes only 7 were written before the strike happened and FX decided to go ahead and air those. I am glad they did because I can't wait to see how they wrap up the season one's cliffhanger!
FX and Sony announced today that it picked up its hit show, Damages for 26 episodes or 2 seasons of 13 episodes each! Damages stars Glenn Close, Ted Danson, Tate Donovan and Rose Byrne and I am sure at least 3 of them will get Emmy noms for their performances in this nail-biting series that you had guessing until the final minutes of first season.
At this point Damages is expected to start filming at the beginning of the year, but with the WGA strike that can all change. I can't wait to see what mysteries they come up with for the second and third seasons of Damages!
