The clock is stopped on the 24 movie
March 12th, 2013 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Even though it has been said that the 24 movie was a go, Antoine Fuqua now says the movie is dead. When the director was asked about it he told The Playlist, “Yeah, that’s not happening. I don’t think it’s gonna happen at all, definitely not with me.” Then he added, “I met with Kiefer [Sutherland], Fox wanted to do it, it was a matter of his schedule before he went off to do his new show [’Touch‘].” He then concluded with, “I don’t think he was able to get a proper agreement with Fox. The time just passed, and I went off to go to what I was doing.”
I know a lot of 24 fans will be upset with the news. But they should consider that it took 10 years to make the sequel to The X-Files, so there could still be hope that the clock will start ticking again at some point.

The Following is a show you will be following
January 21st, 2013 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

The Following debuts on Fox tonight at 9p and you are not going to want to miss a single second of this suspenseful drama.
In 2003, FBI Agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) captured serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) and now 10 years later that man has escaped from jail. After the capture Hardy retired from the force with a bad heart, and now he is being drawn back in to recapture the notorious killer.
Carroll killed 14 female students at the college where he taught the works of Edgar Allen Poe, his role model and inspiration for the killings. One of his victims survived and now Carroll is back to finish the job he didn’t complete all those years ago. Will Hardy get to her in time or will Carroll finish the job?
But the story doesn’t stop there, because once that question is answered we find out that Carroll has nurtured a group of followers while he was in jail to continue doing what he did. Now Hardy has to find Carroll’s Following and stop them before they kill again. But how do you find people that don’t want to be found?
And with that you have The Following, so tune in every Monday at 9p to find out what happens next.

A walking corpse?
January 7th, 2013 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight is the last episode for The Mob Doctor on Fox at 9p and I thought this behind-the-scenes picture from the series finale captured the show’s fate perfectly. It has been a walking corpse since it debuted but by some miracle the medical drama managed to stay on the air long enough to show all of the episodes that were ordered for it. Something that has puzzled almost everyone because no one was watching the most boring show ever made about the mob/and or doctors.
But back to the picture, how cool is it to see William Forsythe walking around with all of the fake blood like it is just another day at the office. Which I guess for an actor it is.
