Fox renewed 4 shows and none of them were Almost Human |
March 7th, 2014 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Fox picked up The Following, New Girl, The Mindy Project and Golden Globe winner Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and have yet to make a decision on Almost Human and Dads. The four shows that were renewed joined Glee, Bones and Sleepy Hollow for next season’s lineup.
Personally, I give up when it comes to decisions that the network executives make. I can’t say I agree with half of the shows that they renewed. New Girl has a following, but they haven’t been as loyal this year. Although they are much loyaler to that show than they are to The Mindy Project and The Following that saw major declines this season. When it comes to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, once it won the Golden Globe the renewal became a no-brainer.
Even though Fox has picked up 4 dramas and 3 comedies, they still have a lot of time to fill with the loss of The X Factor and Friday nights that have been begging for more Gordon Ramsay. I am hoping since the end of their week isn’t as set as the beginning and that they will pick up Almost Human that has been doing better than The Following both in the ratings and in creativity.

Homer Simpson was also part of the Best Selfie Ever |

We all thought we saw the front of the Best Selfie Ever that was taken at the Oscars and we were wrong. That is because it was revealed today that Homer Simpson was also actually part of it too, but Bradley Cooper kept a good man down and out of the picture. No wonder the Hangover star barely got everyone in, he was too busy kicking Homer down the ground.
As bad as it was for the Simpson patriarch, it was even worse for Bart who was even more hidden than Liza Minnelli in the most ReTweeted Tweet.

Dorian is reviewed on Almost Human and Being Human changes things up! |
March 3rd, 2014 under Fox, Syfy. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight at 8p it is the season finale of Almost Human and that means it is time to evaluate Dorian’s (Michael Ealy) performance on the job. Will they decide to keep the decommissioned DRN on the force or will he be sent back to his pod?
Before we find out his fate, Kennex (Karl Urban) and him go on a case. The two of them have to look into a serial killer, who is going after homeless teens. It is Dorian’s computer that helps them solve the case, but is that enough to keep him working as a cop?
So tune in not only to find out, but also to show Fox we want this show to come back for a second season. Seriously, this show, Bones and Sleepy Hollow are Fox’s best dramas. Since the other two have already been picked up for another season, why can’t this show join the pack?
Tonight at 9p on Syfy’s Being Human, Sally (Meaghan Rath) is transported back to the day that she died. Can she change what happened to her on that day and save herself, or will she watch herself die again?
Since you find out by the first commercial what happens, I’ll tell you now that present day Sally enters her past self and survives. So if she is alive and not dead, what happens? Well you just have to tune in to find out. If you are a fan of the show, you are going to love what they do with this story over the next few episodes. And be even more pissed that the show was cancelled because this was a brilliant well played plot twist.

Uncle Sam wants you to watch Enlisted! |
January 10th, 2014 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Enlisted makes its debut on Fox tonight at 9:30p and you will salute this comedy!
Staff Sergeant Pete Hill (Geoff Stults) has been fighting overseas, but he is called back home to train a unit at Fort McGee in Florida. That unit includes his two troublesome younger brothers and the worst soldiers at the base. So he has work cut out for him especially since he will find himself competing with Staff Sergeant Jill Perez (Angelique Cabral) at everything. But really you can cut the sexual tension between them, even if they can’t.
Now when it comes to his brothers, Corporal Derrick Hill (Chris Lowell), is the middle son who really doesn’t want to be a soldier and he’s a real wise a$$. Then there is the youngest, Private Randy Hill (Parker Young), and he wants to be a soldier, he just isn’t suited for it because he is such a softie.
Even though these three brothers are so different they have a special bond that will cause them to help the other one out. So expect a lot of touching moments between the many many laughs.
This show really reminds of the hilarity that we got from Stripes and Private Benjamin. It makes the Army fun, without making fun of the Army.
After watching the first four episodes, I can’t wait to see what happens next because it has everything you need from a great sitcom.

We find out why the Fox’s futuristic drama is called Almost Human tonight!!! |
December 9th, 2013 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8p we get the hugest reveal to date on Almost Human and you don’t want to miss it. Did you ever wonder what a male robot looks like down there? Well you are going to find out because we see one the synthetics completely nude. That’s right, Fox is going full monty and your impressions of robots will never ever be the same. Although they would be much better if we can see Dorian (Michael Ealy) naked because sounds like his creator was a very generous man!
Now once we get to the first commercial break, we have sadly moved on to the episode’s plot which sadly has nothing to do with nude Dorian. In 2048, witnesses do not have to go to the courtroom to testify if it is too dangerous for them and they can do it via hologram. When 2 women who are testifying against a murderer, find their safe house is somehow compromised. One of the witnesses will be murdered and the other one will be on the run. The surviving witness, Maya Vaughn (Megan Ferguson), is a psychic medium and she is in contact with her murdered co-witness. When Maya reveals who the shooter is, it leaves everyone dumbfounded and disbelieving her. When it turns out she is right, now John Kennex (Karl Urban) and the rest of the crew have to find the murderer before he kills again and that includes Maya who is on the top of his list to kill.
Megan Ferguson is so endearing as Maya on Almost Human tonight, that she might just be my favorite guest star this season. I hope that the Fox drama finds a way to use her again because you will instantly fall in love with her.
So tune into tonight for the best episode, so far, of Almost Human’s run. If you haven’t seen this buddy cop drama that takes place in the future, then start tonight because this is the best new drama you are not watching. Plus it is a great fit with Sleepy Hollow and I know you are watching that excellent mysterious cop drama!
