Last week, people pondered who has the better chicken sandwich, Popeyes or Chick-fil-A. Today, we have our answer. Popeyes does. That is because they are sold out and not available anywhere.

Now, that they are not available. I want one and I want it now. Dang it, why didn’t I get one when they were still in stock.
For the last few days, people have been debating who has the better chicken sandwich, Popeyes or Chick-fil-A? Personally, I am a fan of neither, so I cannot answer the question.
While I cannot do it, Conan O’Brien decided to answer it for all of us. He sent someone out to both fast food restaurants, that are within walking distance of the Warner Bros, to pick up the choice menu item. Once they were in his studio, he had a real food connoisseur sample both delicacies. Which one did Dudley The Taste Test Dog prefer? He gobbled them both up in one bite. Thus, the answer is a tie.
Therefore, they are both equally as good (or bad) and we can move on with our lives. That is until someone brings Kentucky Fried Chicken into the mix…
You know it is fall when pumpkin spice food is all over the place. This year, we are getting a new addition for the season. Hormel announced that they are releasing pumpkin spice SPAM on September 23rd. The 2-packs will be available for a limited time on their website and in Walmart.
With this announcement, I think we can agree that pumpkin spice craze needs to end now. Every time I think of it, I shudder because it sounds so gross. I have never had SPAM because it looks so nasty and this makes it sound it even more disgusting.
While I will be skipping it, will you be trying it next month?
Earlier this week, French’s announced that they came ice cream that is flavored with their mustard. Yesterday, Oscar Mayer revealed they created a hot dog flavored ice cream sandwich. In between the cookie bun is candied hot dog bits, hot dog sweet cream and spicy dijon gelato.
As disgusting as it sounds, I so want to try it. Sadly, it is only available the week of August 12th in NYC. If it does well, I would not be surprised if it became available nationwide.
If both ice creams do really well, I betcha that some ice cream parlor will be selling hot dog and mustard flavored ice cream sundaes covered with candied sauerkraut, carmelized relish and a cocktail onion on top. How yummy does that sound?
Someone hold Britney Spears back because starting on July 1st, KFC is going to be selling a Cheetos sandwich for the whole month. The extra crispy chicken sandwich not only includes Cheetos, it is also covered in Cheetos sauce and mayo.
In case you are wondering why Donald Trump is a little more orange next month, it is not because of the sun or his fake tan or whatever causes him to be that odd shade. It will be because he will be eating these sandwiches by the truckload. You know he will love them as much as a nice story written about him or a porn star who does not ask to paid afterward.
But it is not about him, it is about the crunchy orange sticks on top of the yummy Kentucky Fried Chicken sandwich. What will they come up with next? Taco Bell has Fritos and Doritos. Sonic mixes it up with Oreos. Hey Carl’s Jr, how about you do a Funyuns BBQ burger? Jack in the Box, what about adding a burger with Munchos to your late night menu? McDonald’s, how good would a chicken sandwich be with Pringles Ranch potato chips be?
Anyone else craving a salty snack? I guess we will have to settle on that until July 1st. Then we can get the good stuff from KFC that is finger licking good! I am already drooling for it.
