This is the one year that Jews are happy they can’t eat bread during Passover. Why? Because Subway is giving away a melted Cadbury Creme Egg sandwich on Italian white bread.
That’s right, it is going to be free, because who would pay for that, this Friday at four locations in the UK.
Rusty Warren, Senior New Product Development and Product Innovation Manager at Subway, said, “Our Italian White Bread and Cadbury Creme Eggs make the most flavoursome combination, a perfect seasonal treat.
“All the team at Subway are especially excited to see how those Subway fans with a sweet tooth respond to this delicious SubMelt.”
Why do I have a feeling he will be looking for a new job on Tuesday? I told my friends in London to try it for me, and I can’t repeat what they told me to do with the sandwich.
However, if you are not like my now ex-friends, then run to Tottenham Court Road, central London, Central Shopping Centre, Liverpool, Llansamlet Service Station, Swansea, and Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, on Friday because they are only giving away 500 of them. And you don’t want to miss this. Oh wait, maybe you do!
Just like Jimmy Kimmel Live, Matt Damon doesn’t have time for Dunkin’ Donuts. Therefore, they had to go with Boston’s second most beloved actor, Ben Affleck.
So you would think that the employees would be friendly to the Oscar winner for doing their ads. However, they, too, prefer Damon. I can’t say I blame them. Look at who he married.
Pizza parlors have gotten creative with their crusts over the years. There have been crusts stuffed with cheese, made out of pigs in the blanket, and the list goes on.
Well, Little Caesars has topped them all by making the crust out of corn on the cob. And it even comes with a 2-liter bottle of melted butter. Does it sound like something that only happens in your dreams? That is because it is an early April Fool’s Day joke.
It is their way of letting us know they are bringing back the pretzel crust for a limited time.
Seriously, could they not have thought of a less corny way to do it? I can’t believe my advertising teachers told me I would never make it in advertising, but these guys did. Where were their teachers to crush their Crazy People dreams?
Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day, and everyone becomes Irish for the day. We do that by wearing green and drinking lots of alcoholic drinks.
And because of that, Krispy Kreme is getting in on the tradition. So if you go to one of their shops today or tomorrow and you are wearing green, then they will give you one of the Original Glazed doughnuts that are dyed green for the holiday!
So they better make a lot. Because who doesn’t wear green on March 17th?
