We all had bad summers, and Ellen DeGeneres’ was crappy for another reason besides just coronavirus. It was alleged that the host is the complete opposite of how we see her on our televsisions. She was not the only one accused of making her talk show a nightmare to work at, so were three of the executive producers. The latter were all fired, and she got to keep her job for obvious reasons.
After going radio silent for a few months, today she broke her silence about everything on the season 18 premiere of her daytime talk show.
She says that she is what you see on television, but she has other sides of her personality as well. As someone, who grew up with actors, I know that some of them can put on a different persona when the camera is rolling, or they are in front of an audience. I do it too.
I have heard the Ellen rumors for over a decade from people who have worked on the show. I was not surprised, and neither were a lot of people in this community.
Hopefully, since she says she is a work in progress, she will start to make changes. I don’t think it will change how her viewers feel about; they will still love her. It is more about the people that come into contact with her directly. They are the ones she really needs to change for.
Not all talk shows are mean to their staffs, there are a few that are really good to their employees. I have heard good things about several different hosts from their staffs, and it was unprovoked praise. I am not naming them because I don’t want to leave anyone out.

Ellen DeGeneres is back with new episodes on September 21st, and it will be an interesting season premiere for her. Not because of how she spent the summer. Instead, it is all about the things we learned about her this summer.
One of Hollywood’s worst secrets is no longer one. The talk show host is not as nice as she seems on TV. Not only is it rumored that she is mean to her staff, but other places’ employees too.
Ellen has been radio silent about all of this in public, so will she address on the season premiere. “I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it,” said DeGeneres.
I have to admit, I am going to tune in to hear what she has to say. What about you?
Now that Ellen Degeneres and her guests are in different locations, does that mean she can no longer scare the people she is interviewing? Something that seems to be her favorite thing to do on the show.
Today when she had one of her favorite targets on the daytime talk show, she came up with a way to scare the Ryan Murphy muse. Did it work? Not at all. If she can’t make the actress jump on fright, then she most likely won’t be able to do it to anyone else.
I guess it is back to the drawing board for the host.

Since some of the late night show hosts have reworked their openings during the coronavirus pandemic, Ellen DeGeneres felt she would do the same.
Even though she has a wife like them, she does not have any kids. Therefore, she is forced to play frisbee all by herself in it. Which even though she was trying to make it like ’80s sitcom, it came off as sad.
She would have been better off doing it to Billy Idol’s Dancing with Myself. Since she dances and is by herself.

Now that most of the world is on self-quarantine, we need to find new things to keep us busy. Ellen DeGeneres decided that she wanted to do a 4,000-piece puzzle.
That should keep her busy until her talk show goes back into production, or will it?
Sidetrack, since she is modeling a Harry Styles t-shirt, I think he should model her Ellen underwear? Who wants to see his long legs in her briefs? That does not sound good.
