https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VztE0tFRt1E Sky Arts released the first trailer for their show Urban Myths: A Brand New Collection of Comedies and it is some of the worst casting since Lee Daniels’ The Butler. In fact, it is even worse because Joseph Fiennes is playing the late Michael Jackson. He looks nothing like the legendary singer. It is a slap in the face of his to his memory. I would say this would be a career ender, but where has he been?
The only positive thing I can say about it is Stockard Channing looks just like Elizabeth Taylor.
Everyone knows that Lindsay Lohan is playing Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick, but there seems to be only one person she wants to see it. LLo Tweeted, “At least i know that i have done the work for an angel in heaven, @DameElizabeth .. I know that she will see it from up above.. bless her.” Good thing she didn’t say how Dame Elizabeth will react when she sees it because if we think we are going to laugh by how bad it is, imagine how the legend will see it. She will be like I thought I went heaven so why do I feel like I am in hell?
Elizabeth Taylor passed away today at the age of 79 due to heart failure according to The LA Times. Dame Elizabeth was one of the first, if not thee first, screen female legend and now Hollywood is a little dimmer with her violet colored eyes to brighten them.
She was known as much for her 8 marriages as she was known for her acting career, but let’s also remember her for the great work she has done for AIDS awareness with her foundation and donate in her honor today.
Also to remember her watch one of her many movies and spray some her perfume in to the air and it will seem like she is still with us. She might be gone, but this true beauty will never ever be forgotten.
How People Are Remembering The Screen Legend:
ABC News is reporting that her 4 children were with her when she died and her son Michael Wilding released this statement, “My Mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love. Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world. Her remarkable body of work in film, her ongoing success as a businesswoman, and her brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished. We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it. Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts.”

She was also the only person I’ve ever met that had violet eyes. They were genuinely violet. So beautiful.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor Hilton Wilding Todd Fisher Burton Burton Warner Fortensky is looking to add Winters her name because according to Us Weekly she is set to get married for a 9th time. A source told the magazine that the 78 year old Dame recently got engaged to 49 year old Jason Winters and that they are keeping the news quite. The screen legend hasn’t been married in 14 years, so I wonder if in all that time that Ms has finally learned how to be a Mrs for the rest of her life! Hopefully she has because she looks truly happy with Jason Winters and she deserves one last magical love affair!
UPDATE: Guess Elizabeth Taylor Hilton Wilding Todd Fisher Burton Burton Warner Fortensky is not adding Winters to her name because Dame Elizabeth Taylor just Tweeted this, “The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren’t true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart.” Bummer I was really hoping to see her go down the aisle one more time.
Elizabeth Taylor just Tweeted that she is going in for heart surgery and she needs our prayers.
Dear Friends, I would like to let you know before it gets in the papers that I am going into the hospital to have a procedure on my heart.
It’s very new and involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device, without open heart surgery, so that my heart will function better.
Any prayers you happen to have lying around I would dearly appreciate. I’ll let you know when it’s all over. Love you, Elizabeth
So everyone take a moment and pray for her that she gets through the surgery OK!
BTW I think it is incredible that the 77 year old broke the news to her adoring fans on Twitter and I think because it came straight from her more of the right people will be praying for her to get well soon.
