TMZ is reporting that Gale Harold was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday in LA and is currently in the ICU at USC Medical Center. A lot of you are getting to know Gale on Desperate Housewives as Teri Hatcher's painter boyfriend, but he will always be Brian Kinney on Queer As Folk.
UPDATE: Gale Harold’s publicist released this statement from his people and he is expected to make a full recovery.
"We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Oct 14. He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident."
UPDATE 2: Marc Cherry spoke with AP and told them…
…he apparently has swelling on the brain but is expected to recover.
“We’re hearing he’s going to be fine, but he’s going to be recovering for a couple of weeks,” Cherry said.
He added that Gale was shooting scenes for DH this week and at least one scene was written due to the accident.
ABC and the Desperate Housewives producers will be releasing a statement soon and when I have it I will share it with you.

Gale is part of the “Desperate Housewives†family and our thoughts and wishes are with him for a speedy recovery.
Like ABC and Desperate Housewives, I too am wishing him a speedy recovery.
