Yesterday’s Dancing with the Stars finale was full of a lot of surprises. But the biggest one was when Gleb Savchenko came out as Natasha to dance with his partner, Shangela.
In order for Savchenko to become Natasha, he had to spend a long time in the makeup chair for his transformation. Good Morning America shared the magic, and it was incredible to watch the change happen. It was everything that the professional dancer wanted since the day he was paired with Shangela and so much more! When he is done with DWTS, maybe he will consider the world of Drag because he is a natural.
While they might not have won the competition, they won our hearts with their dance.

Cheryl Burke joined Dancing with the Stars in 2006, and now after 26 seasons and two mirror ball trophies, she will be dancing her last dance as a pro tomorrow night.
“I am sitting here full of so many conflicting emotions about the words I am about to write…This has been one of the absolute hardest decisions of my life & I am also confident that it is the right one,” the dancer wrote.
“This show has been my 2nd family since I was 21 years old. The cast, crew & fans have seen me through my highest highs & some of my lowest lows, & I honestly don’t know who I would be today without them. I also know that it is time for me to begin the next phase of my career, although dance will always be a part of me. I am excited about the idea of evolving, about being challenged in new ways, having the ability to expand my commitment to mental health advocacy, focusing on my new found love for podcasting, & I’m ready to face the uncertainty (though it’s scary as sh**) of what the future holds – I do have a few things up my sleeves though, so don’t worry 😉”
Burke did not say what is next for her, but I hope Lifetime considers bringing back Dance Moms with her as the teacher. She was such a natural when she did it last time.
Before Carrie Ann Inaba was judging stars dancing on Dancing with the Stars, she was dancing with stars in Monster Mash. How cool is it to see her dancing when she was 27 in that 1995 movie?

The 78-year-old told the audience, who gave him a standing ovation, “I’ve been on the show since it started in 2005, and it has been a huge pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful show, but I’ve decided I want to spend more time with my grandchildren and family back in Britain.”
Goodman has been the head judge for 30 of the show’s 31 seasons. He took off one season during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be interesting to see if they will replace him or go back down to three judges. Then again, they can say it is time to change up the judges’ table and replace Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and/or Derek Hough. But I doubt they will ever get rid of Hough.
Two last notes. Can we blame Tyra Banks for his departure, and can he take her with him?
This is the third season that Tyra Banks has been hosting Dancing with the Stars, and most people wish we could vote her off.
While that is how we feel at home, the judges have been quiet about the mistakes she makes, the unnecessary small talk she has with the contestants, and the stuff that they dress her in.
Well, things seemed to be a little different yesterday because Head Judge Len Goodman called her out on a stupid thing she said.
Goodman told Charli D’amelio and Mark Ballas that their dance made him feel like “I was transported to some club in Argentina.” To which Tyra told him, “I heard the audience kind of make a sound when Len said he was transported to a club in Argentina.” Then she made it seem like he was talking about a modern-day dance club that young people go to.
And then she added that she thought the audience was like, “Whatcha talkin’ about a club?” That is when a frustrated Goodman told the host, “I don’t know what you are talking about?”
He and the other judges have been silent long enough. Time for them to start calling her out on the stupid things she says. She adds nothing to show but misery. Hopefully, this season will be her last, and they will let my JHS alum, Alfonso Ribeiro do it by himself from now on. We know he can do it.
