Stephen Colbert is an Oopsie-Daisy Homophobe
April 18th, 2013 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Brad Paisely and LL Cool J sang their song Accidental Racist at the ACMs, people can’t stop talking about it and even parodying it. Well yesterday Stephen Colbert did his version of it on The Colbert Report with Alan Cummin called Oopsie-Daisy Homophobe. I think anyone who plans on making their version of the song should stop now because these two guys killed it and no one can top it.

Jon Stewart rips CNN for choosing to be first over right!
April 18th, 2013 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday CNN rushed to the air saying that their sources told them there was an arrest made in the Boston Marathon Bombing. Well the “Most Trusted Name in News” was wrong and Jon Stewart took the opportunity to rip them a new one because of that on The Daily Show.
While I am not making light of what happened in Boston on Monday, I think all of these news agencies need to go back to the logic of it is better to be right than to be first. Jumping the gun has led to several news organizations to air misinformation and it needs to stop now before something horrible comes out of their mistakes. We turn to you for the facts and your correct reporting, not because you were the first ones on the air with the news. Only you give a sh!t about that, we don’t. We just care about the news and you should try to remember that when you are reporting breaking news.
Now I am going to step down from my Soap Box and say that I laughed so hard at that Jon Stewart’s take on it that I actually cured my headache. They say laughing is the best medicine and they are right. So the next time you have a headache, take two Jon Stewart videos and call me in the morning.

xoxo Ayn!

Jon Stewart is taking the summer off!
March 5th, 2013 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

The Daily Show will be without Jon Stewart this summer because he is taking 8 weeks off starting in June to direct a serious film he wrote called Rosewater. Comedy Central described the movie based on Maziar Bahari’s book as “a journalist’s story of his entry into the family business – government imprisonment and political incarceration in Iran.” So I guess you can say the show has really influenced him because when I saw him do his comedy before he did the Daily Show it was mostly about his cat.
And for those of you who are wondering who will be replacing him, that job is going to John Oliver. So we will still have a John hosting the show.

Stephen Clobert is the happiest Hobbit out there!
November 30th, 2012 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

Next week on The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert is having his dream week. That’s because it is Hobbit Week on his Comedy Central show at 11:30p. He will be interviewing Sir Ian McKellan (Gandalf; 12/3), Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins; 12/4), director Peter Jackson (12/5) and Andy Serkis (Gollum; 12/6) and you know he will be trying to get as much information out of them as possible. Granted he probably knows more about the movie then they do.
So you have to tune in to see Colbert be happier about something more than a Republican in the top position. I am sure he will be so cute as he talks to all of the about the movie that comes out on December 14th and stars Stephen Colbert…in a very tiny role!

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert really know how to make entrance!
November 2nd, 2012 under Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and boy do those two know how to enter a room! It took them almost two and a half minutes from when they were introduced until they were seated and it was worth every second! Even without saying a word those two know how to steal a show!
BTW I love when the ABC late night host told The Daily Show and The Colbert Report host that his kids get most of their political information from them and was surprised by the way they reacted to it.
