Tonight’s Partners on CBS at 8:30p is the show’s funniest one yet!
Wyatt (Brandon Routh) is helping out Ali (Sophia Bush) when her fiance’ Joe (Dave Krumholtz) walks in on her saying goodbye to him and he gets jealous. Why would he be worried about her saying goodbye the his BFF/partner’s (Michael Urie) boyfriend? That because she kissed him on the lips and look at him. He might not be into girls, but she likes boys and he is one. When Joe confronts her about it, she denies that there is anything there? So she decides to prove him wrong by kiss kissing Wyatt. Was there really nothing between them? You will have to tune in to find out in the episode that will have you nonstop laughing!
CBS has finally joined NBC (Revolution, Go On, The New Normal), Fox (The Mindy Project, Ben & Kate) and The CW (Arrow) and picked up two of their new shows for a full season. The Eye network announced today that they ordered back 9 both Elementary and Vegas. Vegas is the #1 new show of the season and Elementary is #2 according to them. Although CBS is the second to last network to pick up a show for a full season (c’mon ABC we need more The Neighbors), they were the first to kill a new show (Made in Jersey). So of the 4 news shows from CBS only Partners is awaiting its fate. Why do I feel they will only air 13 episodes and then give that timeslot to Rules of Engagement the show that just won’t die, nor should it. I like Partners, but I can’t see where else they could put Rules. Can you?
UPDATE: I love what Michael Chiklis said about his show Vegas getting picked up for a full season, “I want to personally thank the folks @CBS @CBSTVStudios @Vegas_CBS @VegasWriters and our incredible crew! Let’s make this a classic! #Vegas”
Tonight at 9p on CBS CSI: NY is doing something very few shows have done before. The first half hour there are no words spoken, but you will hear the music of Green Day help tell the story.
Lindsay takes her daughter to a political rally and someone shoots at the candidate. She sees the shooter, and as she down on the ground protecting her daughter an ice cream cart hits her in the head knocking her out. The shooter gets away and he chased by other cops on the scene. He goes into an alley and drops the gun into a dumpster. A little boy takes out the pistol and he accidentally shoots his friend. Now both the little girl’s life and Lindsay’s life are in peril. We will find out one of their fates in a text and the other one will be spoken aloud. Once we hear everyone talking again, the team will go into full force finding out who fired the gun and why they did it.
The first half hour of this episode is extremely powerful because of the music and the second part is equally as good because of the reason why he did it. So tune in for an hour unlike anything you have seen in a long time.
The day after Thanksgiving is always a disaster because you are stuffed from the night before, sick of your family and wondered why did you brave the malls to save $50 on TV. Well this year it will be a little bit nicer because SpongeBob SquarePants is getting his own Christmas stop-motion special on CBS for all of us to enjoy!
According to the press release It’s a SpongeBob Christmas is based on the song Don’t Be a Jerk, It’s Christmas. The description for the 30-minute future classic is, “Mr. Krabs’ nemesis, Plankton, vows to get his Christmas wish – obtaining the Krusty Krab’s secret Krabby Patty formula – by turning everyone bad in Bikini Bottom with the help of his special jerktonium-laced fruitcake.”
Santa Claus will also be featured in the special and he will be voiced by John Goodman who is the perfect to play Saint Nick!
Now the reason why I am looking forward to it because I will still be on such a turkey high and this will totally be the perfect trip for that!
Tonight at 10p on CBS Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) has less than 48 hours to save a kidnapped child on Elementary. For 7 years he has been following The Balloon Man, and now the serial kidnapper has taken another kid. The first child was never found and the others were not found alive. His deduction is that the kids live longer if the parents don’t go to the media and the longest a kid has survived is two days. So now he is racing against the clock to bring this little girl home, but will he make it in time? You have to tune in to find out.
You also have to see how Watson (Lucy Lui) and him have a huge breakthrough in their working relationship. It will change their dynamic on how they solves cases together.
I just have to say that I love hearing Miller talk in his native accent because it just makes the show sound so much smarter.
