Today, CBS released the first trailer for their anticipated show Tracker, which debuts after the Super Bowl on February 11th.

The Talk starts talking again on Monday
October 5th, 2023 under CBS, Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn. [ Comments: none ]

Sonja Flemming/CBS

While most of the daytime talk shows are back now that the WGA strike has ended, Drew Barrymore and Kelly Clarkson will not have their season premieres until October 16th. So what about The Talk?

They will be back this Monday on CBS with Sir Patrick Stewart as a guest. And he will be talking about his new memoir, Making It So.

Hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Klootz, Sheryl Underwood, Jerry O’Connell, and Natalie Morales will be handing out giveaways all week that total nearly $2 million.

I might have to go and be in the audience, just so I can get one of those giveaways.

Dear CBS, Can we wait until after Halloween to talk about New Year’s Eve?
October 2nd, 2023 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Holidays keep coming earlier and earlier every year. But we really need to start setting some precedents. Because today, October 2nd, CBS announced their plans for New Year’s Eve.

I haven’t even finalized my Halloween plans, and they think I am even thinking about what I am going to be doing on December 31st. I haven’t even started planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas. And that is more important than NYE.

So, what are they doing to ring in the New Year? They asked Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Lainey Wilson to perform at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash.

“Building on what we have established over the last two years by focusing on our artists, the fans and the vibrancy of downtown Nashville, this year’s lineup is shaping up to be our most exciting yet. We will celebrate 50 years of the iconic southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, the skyrocketing Lainey Wilson and country music superstar Thomas Rhett, with over a dozen artists and special guests still to be announced,” said executive producer Robert Deaton. “Nashville is quickly becoming THE destination for New Year’s Eve, and we are honored that CBS wants to help us continue to show off our music and incredible city with a new multi-year deal!”

Do you think that CBS announced their NYE plans too early? So, what do you think should be our holiday schedule for starting to plan for them, like we don’t prepare for Valentine’s Day until January 1st?

CBS wants you to help them program Blue Bloods
August 31st, 2023 under CBS, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Blue Bloods will not be airing any new episodes until 2024 due to the Writers and Actors strikes. However, CBS will still be showing episodes in the Fall. Not just any episodes. But the one that we have chosen.

Fans can choose from a curated list highlighting memorable character arcs, pivotal character introductions, and some of the numerous outstanding guest stars (including the late Treat Williams) who have appeared on the series throughout its 13-year run.

All you have to do is go to the Blue Bloods’ Facebook page between now and September 8th and vote on which episodes you want them to re-air.

The winning shows will begin airing on September 29th.
