Some people turn 67 and their glory days are behind them, and then there is Bruce Springsteen. He is still on fire and dancing in the dark.
That is now, and that precious photo is of him way back when he just born to run. Run away with our hearts for so many decades and counting.
Back in the mid-’80s, two of the biggest albums were Prince’s Purple Rain and Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA. Yesterday at The Boss’ Brooklyn show, he honored the legendary singer who passed away on Thursday by singing Purple Rain. It is a rendition that not only makes the ’80s proud, it makes today beam with joy.
Bruce Springsteen was the only guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon yesterday and the NBC late night host and The Boss reworked his classic tune Born to Run as an ode to NJ Governor Chris Christie’s recent woes. Not that he isn’t losing any weight, but some of his aides threw their weight to shut down lanes on the Jersey side of the George Washington Bridge.
So sit back and enjoy Fallon and Springstten’s Gov. Christie Traffic Jam and hope that the Gov. does too. Because if not, Jon Bon Jovi will have Jersey all to himself.

Bruce Springsteen is on vacation in Mallorca and the 63 year old singer proved that his body still many glory days ahead of him. Seriously don’t you still want to be dancing in the dark with him? I mean I know I want to knock on his door and recite the lyrics to I’m on Fire to him after seeing these pictures. Who knew he had all of that under his jeans and T-shirt?
Bruce Springsteen is 62 years young and he can still rock like someone a 1/3rd of his age. Springsteen returned home to play a show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and during a sax solo for his early hit Hungry Heart, he decided to use the musical break to surf the crowd. He had his fans pass him from one end of the stage to the other like a joint and they were more than happy to oblige. They were even willing to put their phones down and stop recording the concert for few seconds just so that they can actually say they touched The Boss. And the Jersey singer looked like he had as much surfing the crowd and the crowd had surfing him!
I love that he is a musician that actually cares about his fans and makes his show as fun for them as it for him.
