Jobless Kevin Federline, who recently lost his only job of being the world’s most talked about husband, is now in talks to take part in the next series of the reality show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. The self-styled aspiring rapper has been offered 150,000 pounds to take part in the Channel 4 reality show. The producers hope the 28-year-old will live up to expectations and wow viewers with his outrageous antics and perform some of his cringeworthy "raps". "Kevin is hugely entertaining because he takes himself really seriously – even though no one else does. He’ll be great for the show because it’s all about larger-than-life characters," the Sun quoted an insider as saying. Other rumoured names for the next series of the Channel 4 reality show include Baywatch star David Hasselhof and 80s singer Adam Ant.
I have new details on why Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are less than pleased with what went down tonight at the American Music Awards. As E! Online reported earlier this evening, Spears was a surprise presenter at the AMAs and went on right after a comedy bit that featured a K-Fed look-a-like being put in a box and dropped in a river. Spears is said to be upset because no one told her beforehand about the skit. Members of her camp apparently demanded that the skit be cut from the West Coast feed of the show. It wasn’t. K-Fed is less than thrilled, too. His people called and “were freaking out,” a source tells me. So who came up with the spoof? The host of the awards, Jimmy Kimmel. I’m told that it was planned and produced long before Spears signed on for the show. “Britney was a last second add to the show,” my source says. Kimmel isn’t exactly apologizing. He told me shortly after the show, “I knew they wouldn’t mind because I know they both have great senses of humor.” The former lovebirds may not be laughing, but most of the audience was. I was there in the Shrine Auditorium. Even though there were some gasps because of its crudeness, an overwhelming majority of people were laughing and cheering during the skit. Spears and Kimmel have a history of joking together. A few years ago, Spears appeared on Kimmel’s show laying in a stretcher after an internet rumor at the time wrongly claimed that the pop star was hospitalized because of a drug overdose. Reps for Spears, Federline, and the AMAs could not be immediately reached for comment.
TMZ has learned that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will come together one more time to tell the public that they never made a sex tape. Reps from the divorcing couple tell us that both Britney and Kevin want to put an end to rumors that K-Fed is out peddling a sex tape for some quick cash. They have agreed to jointly issue a statement, hoping to put an end to the flurry of stories that such a tape exists. TMZ is told the statement will come out shortly
Almost immediately after we heard Britney Spears was finally going to ditch her leach of a husband Kevin Federline, we heard of the now famous sex tape. Federline has already been approached by a porn mogul in the U.S. to buy the tape, but choose to pass on the deal. Now Britney Spears says she may just “give away’ a copy of the sex tape the couple made on their honeymoon two years ago. Sources close to Spears report she is “seriously thinking about” giving away a digitally re-mastered copy of the four-hour long sex video. During a visit to Burger Basket with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayen James spears said she may just post a clip of the video on MySpace. “Brit figures she’ll beat that sucker to the punch, just like she did by giving away pictures of Jayden James,” said Spears family friend Nyla Price, 55, the owner of Nyla’s Burger Basket. “Half of nuthin’ is nuthin’, and that’s what her lying skunk of a husband will get if she gives that video away before he can find some sleazeball to buy it.” Federline has been saying the sex tape is four hours long, however, Price says the tape is closer to forty-five minutes.
Britney Spears’ family begged the pop star to divorce Kevin Federline after the pair had an “explosive argument” at a party last month. Aspiring ‘rapper’ K-Fed apparently “treated Britney like s**t” at his launch party for ‘Playing With Fire’ in Los Angeles on 31 October, and Spears’ family quickly convened a summit the following day to convince her to end the relationship. Spears’ powerful mother Lynne helpfully brought along divorce attorney Laura Wasser – and Britney finally heeded their advice, initiating divorce proceedings earlier this month A source tells US Weekly magazine, “Kevin was never popular with anyone around Britney. She finally wised up."
