Travis Barker just Tweeted about the loss of his friend DJ AM.
Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had.
I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being.
Rest In Peace my brother, this really fucks me up.
So sad, I really hope being back with Blink 182 and his kids get him through this.

Dammit I am on vacation and I wasn’t able to see the recently reunited Blink 182 live in concert on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but watching these videos is helping to ease the pain! Seriously how awesome do they sound together, it is as though they never split. Now I think, if tickets are still available, I am so going to go to see them live on their tour that kicks off July 24th.
BTW how amazing is it to watch Travis Barker play like that less than a year after that horrific plane crash.
Bink-182 confirmed at The Grammys and on Blink-182’s MySpace that they will be back this summer with a new album and a tour! About time Tom Delonge got off his high horse and got back together with Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus!!!
I can’t wait to get tickets to see these guys together again! I just hope and pray they make it until then!!!
Travis Barker was released from an Augusta, Ga hospital just 9 days after surviving a plane crash according to People.
"Travis is in good condition and was discharged this morning," Burn Center spokesperson Beth Frits told PEOPLE Monday. "He has left Augusta."
Personally I am shocked that both DJ AM and him were released from the hospital so soon after the accident, but maybe instead of being released both were tramsferred to hospital here in Los Angeles. Either way this is good news and I pray their recovery is a speedy one.

The former Blink 182 drummer, burned in an airplane crash in South Carolina on Sept. 19, and his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, boarded a private bus in South Carolina today, and are now heading cross-country to Orange County, Calif. “Travis is desperate to get back home to be near his kids,” an insider tells Life & Style. “He and Shanna got a luxury bus with all the medical help he needs.”
He’d been hospitalized at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga., since the crash that killed four and left Barker and DJ AM with serious injuries. Beth Frits, a rep for the Center, tells Life & Style, “Travis was released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at 10 a.m. this morning.” Travis will be taken to the Grossman Burn Center in Santa Ana, Calif., for further treatment and additional surgery.


Travis Barker's people are keeping his MySpace page updated with health information on the two. The news so far is good and the two are expected to make a full recovery, but will be going through months of rehabilitation for the burns.
"Both travis barker and adam goldstein (dj am) are currently being treated for second and third degree burns. Barker sufferd from burns on his torso and lower body and Goldstein sufferd from burns on his arm, and a portion of his scalp. Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn't suffer from any other crash related complications each anticipates a full recovery through healing and rehabilitation. No further statements will be made at this time and an update of their recovery may be avaliable at the end of the week via their representation.
Because of all the misinformation out there, I will mostly only post health updates on the two because they really need time to heal and it will sadly be a slow painful process.
