Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian got married
April 5th, 2022 under Blink-182, The Kardashians. [ Comments: none ]

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were in Vegas for the Grammys, and they did a very Vegas thing while they were there.

According to TMZ, they were married by an Elvis impersonator at the One Love Wedding Chapel on Monday morning at 1:30a.

Even though they are already Mr. & Mrs., be prepared for plenty of celebrations for her Hulu show with her family, which now includes her husband and his two children, Landon, 17, and Alabama, 15, with his second wife, Shanna Moakler.

This is Kardashian’s first marriage. She has three children, Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6, with her ex Scott Disick.

I am sure they will be adding to the Barker Bunch in the near future with a honeymoon baby, who might’ve been conceived beforehand…

Mark Hoppus kicked cancer’s a$$
September 29th, 2021 under Blink-182. [ Comments: none ]

Back in June, Mark Hoppus announced that he had cancer. Today, he gave an update on his battle with the disease.

“Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer free! Thank you God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent support and kindness and love,” he wrote. “Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed. Can I get a W in the chat?”

This is such great news, and I hope he stays in remission for the rest of his life. Here is to him having a great 2022 and beyond. Hopefully, Blink-182 can hit the road when he is better. That is if Kourtney Kardashian will let Travis Barker do it.

Mark Hoppus is battling diffuse large B-cell lymphoma Stage 4-A, and he is currently undergoing his fifth round of chemo to beat it.

His scans are showing that he is winning. And now, he has another sign that cancer is no match for him. The hair on the top of his head is growing back.

The Blink-182 bassist is so excited that he shared a closeup of his scalp with little hairs and wrote, “Hahaha. Look at this trash. This is the top of my head right now. This is what God sees when He looks down upon His work and despairs. Cancer-ass head trying to grow back some hair. Awww. Poor little head. Keep your chin up, fighter.”

Then he added that it is not all good news, “Feeling terrible this week but trying to stay positive and count my blessings. I hope everyone is doing great, staying healthy, and being kind to each other. If anyone needs me, I’ll be on the couch for the foreseeable future.”

It is always the darkest before the dawn, but there is a light for him. And it is shining through with those little sprouts of hair.

Back in June, Mark Hoppus revealed that he has diffuse large B-cell lymphoma Stage 4-A. Today, he shared the texts he sent when he knew something was wrong in April, so he reached out to his doctor.

How it started…
Tues, Apr 20, 7:34 AM
Mark: Hi Jill. For the past couple days I’ve had this dull sore lump in my shoulder kind of right where it connects to my neck that could either be fatal lymphoma or a sore muscle. At what point should I be concerned and have it looked at?

Jill: I need to see you!

Mark: Okay, I can come in this afternoon?
Or this morning I just have a radio show to tape at noon

Tue, Apr 20, 9:55 AM
Jill: 4:15 pm work?

Mark – Yep! See you then! Thanks again

He followed up the texts with a photo of himself showing how it is going now as he is beating the cancer with the help of chemo.

Hopefully, in a blink, he will be cancer-free and back on the road again with Blink-182. Especially now that Travis Barker is flying again.

Mark Hoppus gives an update on his cancer

Back in June, Mark Hoppus revealed that he has been battling diffuse large B-cell lymphoma stage IV-A. Last week, he said he was going to get scans that would determine whether he would live or die. Today, he shared with us the results, and he is winning the fight against the blood cancer.

“Scans indicate that the chemo is working! I still have months of treatment ahead, but it’s the best possible news.

“I’m so grateful and confused and also sick from last week’s chemo. But the poison the doctors pump into me and the kind thoughts and wishes of people around me are destroying this cancer.

“Just gonna keep fighting…”

Hopefully, the next round of chemo will leave the Blink-182 bassist cancer-free. We need to keep him alive so that he can keep giving us great music. After all, he wrote the band’s best tunes like Adam’s Song.
