ABC announced their midseason schedule and missing from the schedule is Cougar Town that was suppose to be back in November and then January. Hopefully it will get on the schedule soon because I am missing my drinking buddies.
Now I know I am in the minority, but I really love Work It and I can’t wait to see what they do next with the show. Seriously out of all of the sitcom pilots for this year, this one made me laugh the most. Yes there are a lot of stupid laughs and you know what we need that every now and again.
When it comes to the rest, I haven’t yet to see them. GCB better be as good as some say because I am not ready to depart just from Pan Am.

Poor Ian Gomez plays Andy the husband of Ellie on Cougar Town and he learned the hard way it is not a good idea to play the husband of the woman who is really married the show’s creator. It looks like he is going to meet Heavan Daaz this season on the ABC sitcom, at least that is what his co-star Josh Hopkins Tweeted when he posted the pictures and said “Not a great beginning of season three for Ian…”
I doubt Andy’s character will make like a banana split on the show, but if he does and I were Ian…he should have his wife Nia Vardalos write a film called My Big Fat Dead Costar and have Christa Miller play the costar!!!
Either that or Christa is showing her hubby Bill Lawrence what will happen if Tweets something about her she doesn’t like. Those Lifetime movies really do come in useful, don’t they?
Cougar Town show creator Bill Lawrence took to Twitter today to say that he is not a fan of his show’s name, so he asked “How many of you (if you like show) have had trouble getting others to watch due to crappy/lame/cheesy title? Curious.” He then posted a lot of replies from people saying that people cringe when they hear the name or don’t believe a show with that title could be funny. So after several comments, he said “Screw it. I’m changing it (if Kevin’s cool w it. Someone ask him for me). Seriously, we just decided. Will use fans to help w new title.”
He then went on to explain how Cougar Town came to be, “To answer many of you: Kevin and I titled the show. It helped sell it, plus we thought we’d do campy show about woman re-entering world. Now Cougar Town is show about adult friendships and drinking. And it’s called Cougar Town. I hate myself.” So now that you know the back story and where the comedy is today, what do you think the new name should be? My choices are Penny Can, Wining and Dishing, Not Cougar Town, Courteney Cox and her new Friends and For the Love of Alcohol.
And in you case you were wondering if they will still make fun of the new name if ABC lets them change it, he said “Yes, 22 episodes next year, and yes: when we change the title we will still do mocking title cards.”
BTW if you are not watching this show because it is called Cougar Town, you are schmucks because it is one of the funniest shows on TV!!!

Josh Hopkins and his co-star Courteney Cox are on vacation together in St Barth’s and they were having some fun at the beach. While they were enjoying the sun, they both accidentally were showed off their moon. I don’t know about you, but I am bummed that Hopkins didn’t lose his trunks and Calvin Klein’s completely because he looks to have nice bum and I wanted to see it!!!
Cougar Town is all new tonight and you are so not going to want to miss tonight’s episode on ABC at 9:30p. Here is what show creator Bill Lawrence Tweeted to me about tonight’s episode, “Not all that much. Drinking, bossy pants, tom’s weird, adults behaving like children, my next show ‘beef and bubbles’.” What more do you need? Here I have a drinking game to entice to you watch tonight’s new episode…every time they drink, you drink with them. By the time 10p rolls around you will be ready to go to sleep…alone or with that special person you were watching the show with…if you know what I mean???
