Tonight at 10p, TBS gives us a little Christmas present the day afterwards with a Pitch Perfect reunion on Ground Floor!
Remington Trust gets some good news and some bad news tonight. The good news is that they made Forbes Top 100 list, the bad news is it is for Forbes 100 Worst Places for a Woman to Work. Remington Stewart Mansfield (John C. McGinley) quickly realizes the reason why he is on the list is that there’s no women who work there. To remedy the problem, he hires Heather (Anna Camp) to work for him.
Heather used to date Brody (Skylar Astin) when they went to Harvard together and that is going to cause some problems for Jenny (Briga Heelan) and him. Jenny, at first, is open to letting her into their lives, but then quickly she becomes jealous when Heather winds up singing more songs with Brody at Karoake night.
Which woman will Brody wind up with his current or his ex-girlfriend? You will just have to tune in to watch; and to hear the three of them sing three songs together (including Britney Spears’ Hit Me Baby One More Time) in this very funny episode of Ground Floor on TBS at 10p!
Ground Floor debuts at 10p tonight on TBS and you will want to hire this very funny comedy from Bill Lawrence.
Brody (Skylar Astin) is an over-ambitious banker who works on the top floor of Remington Trust. Jenny (Briga Heelan) works on the bottom floor there doing support. These two would never meet, but an office party introduces them and now the two floors are getting to know each other now that they are dating.
On the top floor, all the employees are uptight because they work 24/7. While on the bottom floor, they have a lot more fun because they work 9a-5p. A concept that is not known by Brody and his co-workers. Could be because their boss, Mr. Mansfield (John C. McGinley), insists that they have no life. In fact, he doesn’t want Brody dating Jenny because she is a distraction. Meanwhile Jenny’s co-worker, Harvard (Rory Scovel), doesn’t want them dating because he has a big crush on Jenny.
So even though the odds are stacked against them, they are going to work it out. While they are getting to know each other, so are the ground and top floorers. Their two very different worlds will slowly merge into one.
Ground Floor is the perfect work place comedy because it makes that crappy place away from home seem so much more fun.
Especially when you throw Threepeat (Rene Gube) from the top floor and from the ground floor Tori (Alexis Knapp) and Derick (James Earl) into this crazy fun office party!
The chemistry between the cast is some of the best I have seen on TV in a while. Plus. the writing for them is so right on that you will find yourself laughing nonstop from the beginning until the end. That is why TBS’s slogan is “Very fun!”
So add this show to your resume tonight and every Thursday at 10p on TBS.
Courteney Cox Tweeted this picture of her Cougar Town co-stars and they look they are part of a cult they want us to join. Looks I will be moving to the cul-de-sac because I, like so many other, are brainwashed by the TBS show.
Seriously who wouldn’t want to be part of a cult that drinks wine all the time?
After three underpublicized on ABC, Cougar Town moves to TBS tonight at 10p and they have been giving this show the respect it does.
The Cul-de-Sac crew is back from Jules (Courteney Cox) and Grayson’s (Josh Hopkins) romantic wedding and the newlyweds have to adjust to being married. Grayson is learning the hard way that you do during your first week of marriage shapes what you will be doing for the rest of your til death do you part days. So now the two of them are being careful to do only what they want to do for an eternity.
Coming up in the following weeks; there will be the drinking of wine, someone falls in love, someone gets their heart broken, Jules and Ellie’s (Christa Miller) first meeting in a flashback episode, facial hair, Tom (Bob Clendenin) gets a girlfriend, more of Courteney Cox’s boobs, a night of passion that one partner will remember forever and the other one has no idea what happened and plenty drinking of wine. Oh and I forget to mention lots and lots laughs.
I am so happy that TBS saved this show because moving it to cable made a funny sitcom even funnier!
We all know that almost everyone hates Cougar Town‘s name, and today we found out who hates it most. The real Cougars are so mad that they sent a letter to TBS asking them to pull the show that makes its TBS debut on January 8th!
Can I just say that I love that TBS has done more to promote the show this season than ABC did during all the years it aired the show combined! Maybe if they did that from the beginning it would still be airing on ABC???
