Julie Chen talks about Big Brother
August 8th, 2006 under Big Brother- US. [ Comments: none ]

Julie Chen, one of the anchors of CBS’ "Early Show," is the host of the summer reality series "Big Brother." To work both shifts, she spends plenty of time in airplanes. "Wednesday through Friday, I’m out here," she says during an interview in Los Angeles with Bruce Miller. "It’s a lot, but I’ve been doing it for seven years. I’ll stay as long as I’m not bored and as long as they want me…or I’m not too old."

Here’s Five Minutes with Julie Chen:

This season is called the "All-Stars." But why aren’t some of the past winners on?

"Some didn’t want to do it again. The producers wanted (contestants) who would provide the best story content."

Was there one you wanted to see on?

"Bunky. He’s very sweet and entertaining and funny. But the audience didn’t vote him in."

So, could you live in the house?

"Never. Not for a day. My privacy is too important to me."

But don’t you live in a fishbowl, too?

"Yeah. But when you get back to your apartment you do have privacy. There’s no escape in that house."

Have you walked through the "Big Brother" house?

"Before the series started, I went in and I wasn’t familiar with the concept. It was little eerie, a little disturbing. Now, it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s cool.’ We got a new house last year. We just made some renovations for this year. We don’t want to make it totally comfortable. We have to have some tension in the house. People are at their wits’ end."

But a bed for four people?

"Four girls could sleep in it. They’re different than guys. They can have a slumber party and share a big bed."

Do you watch the show on the Internet feed?

"I didn’t but then my director from ‘The Early Show’ will say, ‘Oh, my god. These people are crazy. You’ve got to get in here and check this out.’ I’ll have the feed on when I’m getting ready for the show. I catch myself watching it but I can understand why people waste hours during the day not doing their work."

Do you meet the contestants before the series starts?

"I only meet them when they get evicted. That’s the first time."

And a winner?

"I haven’t predicted a single one. It’s not always the strongest person who wins. Sometimes, it’s someone who flies under the radar. It depends on the chemistry of the group. What works from one season may not work with the group dynamic from another season."

Wonder if she saw Mike Malin and Jedi Howie in the jack chest?

Diane Henry writes about Big Brother 7
August 7th, 2006 under Big Brother- US. [ Comments: none ]

Hey everyone!!!!
I was just sitting here, and thought that the least I could do was stop by and say hello to all. I am so dearly sorry for being away for so long, but LA has been a tough ride so far as well as an awesome one. I’ve been through more than the average person should go through out here, and have finally gotten to the point in my life where I want and need to be. I have a core group of the most wonderful friends in the world and that’s all I want and need. I have pretty much wiped all negativity out of my life finally which has given me a lot back in return. As for Toni…..no we are no longer friends. She has a golden heart, but is a nasty bitch. It just takes some of us longer to grow up and be spiritually connected with our innerselves and stop being dependent on others for assurance and self worth. And no she doesn’t even know Janelle. Thats just her being immature.
I know the dying question burning all of u, is BB7, but you know I can’t talk about it. After the 21st it will be out and everyone can go from there.
Other than that I am still in LA currently doing promotional modeling only and managing it whenever I can get it, no more extra work, and and just trying to get through the "hiatus" period in this town. (which is a period of no work in the business) I am staying with a friend right now, trying to figure out where I want to go next if I choose ot to stay here.
The family is well, as I hope everyone else’s is too! Let me know how everyone is doing and let’s get this site buzzing like it used too!

Love to all, Diane

(Thanks Becca

Big Brother’s Diane Henry hated All-Star experience
August 5th, 2006 under Big Brother- US. [ Comments: none ]

Diane Henry says Big Brother: All-Stars should be renamed Big Brother: The Torture Edition. The latest evicted houseguest, who rose to reality fame on BB5, says the producers of the show made her summer painful.“It’s Big Brother — let’s make you miserable. It was the worst four weeks of my entire life,” she says.“It was not fun. Leaving the house (Thursday) was actually more of a luxury than a disappointment.” Forcing the contestants to eat BB slop (some kind of corn-based oatmeal) and waking up the house every 15 minutes with annoying and loud messages from viewers before the veto competition this week, was only the tip of the iceberg, she adds. “I was in the house with a lot of spoiled-rotten people so the complaining was just outright ridiculous, which, in turn, made it worse for us,” says Henry. “The more you complained, the less they were going to give the house some alcohol … and they wouldn’t give us activities, something to keep us occupied, eccept for some kid’s toys. “I’m hoping from this week out, we’ll start to see some All-Star stuff — it’s kind of been sucking so far. It just really wasn’t the same experience (as BB5).”

What a tangled web they weaved on Big Brother
August 3rd, 2006 under Big Brother- US. [ Comments: none ]

No shocker on tonight’s elimination of Diane the biggest floater of this year’s contestants. But what is a shocker is how the next Head of Household will be decided. The contestant who stays the longest on that web wins the title. Please, oh please let it be someone from Chill Town or anyone not from seaosn 6. We so need someone from that year to be gone.
And yes I know I am the only person rooting for either Mike Malin or Dr. Will to win!

Jedi Howie plays with his little lightsaber
July 26th, 2006 under Big Brother- US. [ Comments: none ]

Watch as Howie Gordon from Big Brother 7: All Stars releases some tension in the same wooden box that Mike Malin did last week. What is with these boys masturbating in a small wooden box. My question for you boys is, how? And OMG who is next? I can not wait to see how many tissues Will will use?

Watch the video here
