Last week, Shanae Grimes gave birth to her daughter, Bowie, and her body did not immediately go back to how it looked before she got pregnant. Is the actress upset about it? Nope, she is “proud” of her new shape and decided to show it off for everyone to see. She also wrote an essay about it for other future moms to read.
I was nervous to post this because I’m sure I’ll receive comments from people asking if I’m magically 5 months preggers again already or saying I looked hella tired or WHATEVER but I felt it was important to share on social media because this is my reality and I’m proud and empowered by this incredible body and the life it created. Now that is some real magic!!! I won’t lie, while I was so excited to welcome baby girl, I was really nervous about how insecure I would feel in the days that followed about my body and my belly without a baby in it anymore. Not important in comparison to the excitement and love and joy I knew I’d be feeling but a valid feeling nonetheless. Rest assured I’ve felt the absolute opposite of insecure about my body since giving birth to Bowie. I’ve felt more confident in myself and my body than ever before because it is strong and miraculous and badass. I’m sure I’ll love the day I fit back into my pre-pregnancy clothes, don’t get me wrong but right now I’m wearing this body with pride and I wanted to post this in case anyone out there has the same concerns I did. Women are strong, women are powerful, women create life and do a million other things whilst nurturing and caring for the future generation. This is the example I want to set for my little girl so there ya have it, my 1 week postpartum body and the magical little bundle of love and life that it created. Rock on mamas! #postpartumbody
I guess she learned a thing or two from starring on Degrassi: The Next Generation and 90210. Both shows were about positive body image, and it getting her through her postpartum stage. Bowie is a lucky girl to have a mom who will raise her to be comfortable in her own skin.
After months of showing off her growing belly, Shenae Grimes finally had the thing that caused it to grow.
Bowie Scarlett came into the world Thursday afternoon weighing 6 lbs., 12 oz according to People. This is the first child for the 90210 star and her husband Josh Beech who have been married for 5 years.
Before a Sharknado was the scariest thing that Ian Ziering had to deal with, he was terrified to be a father of one of the Flour Babies. He looks the same now as he did when he was 25 in that 1990 Afterschool Special.
I completely forgot that Burt Reynold was a guest star on Beverly Hills, 90210, but Ian Ziering did not. In fact, he told Today that he was his favorite guest star.
That was not all he told the morning news show. When Reynolds walked in to film his scene, he was the tallest guy in the room. However, when they met before they began filming he was not that tall. Ziering noticed the actor’s cowboy boots had a heel, but the Sharknado star thinks he might have had something else in his boots.
According to a Google search, Steve Sanders is 6’0 and The Bandit is an inch shorter. Therefore, if you put on heels, then you are going to be a few inches taller.
I wonder which one of them really needs to be knocked down a few inches.
