Elvis Costello and wife Diana Krall are the parents of twin boys. The new arrivals — named Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James — were born on Wednesday, according to a statement from the couple. "We are ecstatic!" the statement continued, going on to add that "mother and sons are doing splendidly." The births came on the couple’s third wedding anniversary. The statement provided no other details on the twins. Costello, 52, is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer known for songs like "Veronica," "Pump It Up" and "Alison." He most recently collaborated with Allen Toussaint on the album "The River in Reverse." The 42-year-old Krall, a jazz singer, released her latest album, "From This Moment On," in September. The couple live in New York. This is Costello’s third marriage, and Krall’s first.

Sofia Coppola gave birth today to a girl, I can exclusively report. The father is Coppola’s boyfriend, musician Thomas Mars. No official confirmation just yet on the newborn’s arrival, but I’m told they have named her Romy. Coppola and Mars met after she used his band Phoenix’s song "Too Young" in the soundtrack of her 2004 film Lost in Translation, for which she won a screenwriting Oscar. Coppola, the daughter of director Francis Ford Coppola, most recently wrote and directed Marie Antoinette, a biopic about the French queen starring Kirsten Dunst.

Matt Lauer now has another reason to look bleary-eyed on the set of the "Today" show. His wife, Annette, gave birth to a son, the couple’s third child, Tuesday. In honor of his wife’s heritage, the boy was given the Dutch name of Thijs (pronounced tice). Born in a New York City hospital at 9:37 a.m. (EST), Thijs weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Lauer, 48, worked as recently as Monday, but Lester Holt filled in for him on the NBC morning show Tuesday. Thijs is the couple’s third child. They have a 5-year-old son, Jack, and 3-year-old daughter, Romy.

 Kellie Martin, who starred on ER and the series Life Goes On, has welcomed her first child with husband Keith Christian, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. The couple’s daughter, Margaret Heather Christian, was born Saturday at 12:21 p.m. She weighed at 8 lbs., and was 21 inches long. "Kellie and Maggie are both doing very well," her rep tells PEOPLE. When Martin, 31, revealed in August that she was pregnant, she told the Associated Press that she barely had any experience with kids. "I never even babysat," she said at the time. "The only time I’ve changed a diaper is when my friend, who just had a baby, called and said, ‘Come over, you need to practice.’"
