Meatball is a 36 pound cat who was dropped off at The Maricopa County Animal Care and Control and now they are looking for a rescue organization to help him drop some pounds according to ABC15. Once he gets down to a normal size he will be available for adoption and even minus some of that kitty weight, I am sure he will have no problem finding a home. And the shelter will be able to find a kennel that could actually hold the big cat, who is too plump to fit in the ones they have now.
BTW as soon as my cat saw this, she looked at me with a face that was like don’t you ever call me fat again.

Most cat owners, including me, think that their cat is the cutest. Well, Andy Richter thinks his is boring. So watch this viral video that he shared of his pussy on Conan yesterday and tell me if you think his kitty is more exciting than yours? My fur baby watched it and decided to take a cat nap during it; so that should answer how we feel about it.

Toronto has been dealing with frigid temperatures for the last few weeks, and here is something that will definitely warm up the city. It’s not video of their mayor Rob Ford smoking crack. It is video from The Toronto Zoo of their polar bear cub taking his first steps 58 days after his mother, Aurora, had him. If doesn’t warm the coldest of hearts, I don’t know what will.
Seriously, can that video be any more awwwwdorable? I just want to reach through the computer screen, pick him up and squeeze him. He’s just that precious.

Pet Collective has come up with the purrfect petody to Anchorman by using cats to recreate the cult movie in just 2 minutes. Some have thought that Ron Burgundy is a pussy and now we can say it is official thanks to this tail, I mean, tale.
So sit back, grab some tuna and a bowl of milk, and enjoy Anchorman like you never have before. I enjoyed it so much that laughed like I was on catnip.
BTW am I the only sick of all the publicity they have been doing for Anchorman 2? Is there anywhere Will Ferrell hasn’t been to promote the sequel that comes out next week.

A diver was swimming in the waters by the Huntington Beach Pier yesterday looking for lobsters, and what he found was a 26″ 18lbs lobster according to The LA Times. After a brief struggle he was able to bring the big guy up on to land and pose with him.
So what is he going to do with his prize lobster? As soon as he finds a pot big enough to hold him, he is going to have him for dinner. And I am sure it will be the sweetest lobster he has ever eaten. Maybe if he is nice, he will invite me over for some tail! You know what I mean?
