WACKY ANGELINA JOLIE has fed INSECTS to her adopted son Maddox. The actress, 31, and partner BRAD PITT bought the five-year-old a plate of crickets — a delicacy in the tot’s native Cambodia. She said: “I recently took Mad to Cambodia and it was the first trip there where he really understood it. We took him to a restaurant in the middle of the night and he had his first plate of crickets.” The high-protein bugs — reminiscent of TV’s Bushtucker Trials — are popular in the South East Asian country. They are often served with guts intact. Angelina has previously eaten cockroaches and bee larvae and wants to learn how to cook them at home. The beauty — who also has a year-old Ethiopian-born daughter Zahara and a baby daughter with Brad, Shiloh Nouvel — is known for odd habits She used to wear ex-hubby Billy Bob Thornton’s blood in a pendant.

How Angelina Jolie fell for Brad Pitt |

For the first time, Angelina Jolie has described what happened between her and Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith – and she insists she never had any intention of breaking up his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. When she first met her costar on the set of the thriller in 2003, "I didn’t know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life," Jolie, 31, says in the January issue of Vogue, according to excerpts published in the New York Post. "But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects. "And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives. … I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn’t. I was quite content to be a single mom." But "Brad was a huge surprise to me. I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him from … the media," she says. "Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, ‘God, I can’t wait to get to work.’ … Anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair." They didn’t start thinking about a relationship right away, she says. "It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe. And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration." The two remained "very, very good friends" from the time the movie wrapped in 2004 until after Pitt and Aniston announced their separation in January 2005, Jolie says. Jolie says that the time she spent getting to know Pitt before his split was "not as exciting as what a lot of people would like to believe. We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things. "And then we just continued to take time. We remained very, very good friends – with this realization – for a long time," she says. "And then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do." In fact, it was her son, Madddox, now 5, who helped seal the deal. (Jolie and Pitt are also parents to Zahara, 23 months, and Shiloh, 6 months.) One day, Maddox "just out of the blue called him Dad," says Jolie. "It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room, and we both heard it and didn’t say anything and just looked at each other. So that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family." Jolie also says she’d be willing to meet with Aniston, but "That would be her decision, and I would welcome it." Pitt has said he and Jolie would not wed until all couples can legally marry, and Jolie agrees that tying the knot is not a priority. "We both have been married before, so it’s not marriage that’s necessarily kept some people together," she says. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that’s the most important thing."

This confirms so much of what I thought about them…that they waited until after he split from Jennifer Aniston and it was about him wanting to be a dad! Granted this could all be lies, but let me believe the fairytale for now!

What did Angelina get Brad for his birthday? |

Just before 3 p.m. Thursday, Brad Pitt got his birthday gift from Angelina Jolie as the most famous couple in the world arrived in snowy Mill Run, Pa., to tour Fallingwater. “He’s so hard to buy for,” Jolie told Fallingwater’s Curator of Education Cara Armstrong and Event Coordinator Edna King during the hour-long drive the four shared together from Latrobe Airport to Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterwork. “Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college,” Armstrong said. “He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. It was amazing how well informed he was about architecture, which was great for me since I’m an ‘architecture geek.’” “Cara and Brad chatted about architecture on the whole trip to Fallingwater,” King said. “You could see the two of them were in heaven.” When they arrived, the couple took a two-hour focus tour led by Armstrong who described the couple as “very gracious and very engaged in the house. As we say in the midwest, you could tell their mothers raised them right.” “Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace, was better than anything he could have imagined,” Armstrong said. After the tour, Angelina had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater’s living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged Armstrong and King to take the “snacks” home with them. Arrangements for this impromptu birthday bash began about a week before Thanksgiving when King received a call from Jolie’s personal assistant in Asia. The assistant was reluctant to provide the names of the couple but relented when King assured her she would be discreet. Aside from King and Armstrong, only Fallingwater’s Director Lynda Waggoner knew of their December 7 arrival. The couple was to travel by helicopter from New York originally, but snowy weather conditions necessitated chartering a private jet and then being driven by SUV (with tinted windows) to Fallingwater. Armstrong said the couple enjoyed the ride over, and both remarked how beautiful they thought the Laurel Highlands looked in winter. A National Historic Landmark and an official project of the Save America’s Treasures program, Fallingwater was designated the Commonwealth Treasure of 2000 by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2001, National Geographic Traveler magazine named Fallingwater one of 50 “Places of a Lifetime.” On November 2, the National Trust for Historic Preservation honored the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy for Excellence of Stewardship of Historic Sites, commemorating its ongoing preservation work at Fallingwater.

Brad and Angelina planning a Christmas wedding in South Africa? |

Oprah Winfrey may have not scored an invitation to Tom and Katie’s overseas nuptials, but you can bet your bottom she’ll be in attendance when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally exchange their “I do’s.” It’s actually because of her new friendship with Oprah that Angelina, who balked at notions of marrying Brad in the past, has had a change of heart. OK! has learned that a Christmas wedding in Africa is in the works. “Ange is grateful to have a big sister in Oprah, a person who understands her fears of commitment but also is a kindred spirit in Ange’s crusade to help children,” says a friend of Ange. The ceremony will be simple and elegant with African traditions and a small, intimate guest list, like Brad’s good pal George Clooney.

Considering the source it is probaly untrue, but how nice would it be if it were! Granted if I were Angelina I would want to wait for his hair to grow back!
