American Horror Story: Coven compels its way on to FX tonight at 10p and you don’t want to miss this show or fear the curse they will put on you. OK, they won’t do that but you don’t want to miss what might be the best one in the AHS franchise.
Coven starts off in the 1800’s in the house of notorious serial slave killer Delphine LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) and you see what a sick individual she was.
Then the show picks up in the current day and teenager Zoe Benson (Taissa Farmiga) is about to lose her virginity to her boyfriend. But something happens and she finds out she is a witch because of it. So her mom sends her off to New Orleans to attend a school for witches.
Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson) runs Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies and besides Zoe she has three other students. That because there aren’t as many witches as there used to be. Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts) is a bitchy celebrity who uses her powers for bad. Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) has an interesting power that you will have to see to believe. And finally there is Nan (Jamie Brewer), who is mentally challenged, but she is the smartest witch of them all.
The four students are not prepared for what will happen next because Foxx’s mother, Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) has decided to come back to town and she has her own agenda. She is a supreme witch and supreme something else that rhymes with witch.
So while the goal of the witches to remain private, they have been doing things that will get them noticed. So not only are they putting themselves in danger, they put others in danger like mortal danger. And nothing they do will be as bad as what Fiona does at the end of the episode that will definitely make this series very interesting…
In recent years I have tired of Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires, but shows like this are keeping my love for witches very much alive. So tune in for a spellbinding story tonight and every Wednesday at 10p.
Tonight at 10p the craziness of American Horror Story: Asylum ends on FX and it is satisfying and not what you would expect.
The show has been fast forwarding in time for the last few episodes and tonight we will see our remaining characters live their lives from the ’70s until today. We find out what will happen to Kit Walker, his kids, Sister Jude and Monsignor Timothy Howard from a modern day Lana Winters being interviewed before her Kennedy Center Honors. As she tells their stories, we will also hear hers and if she finally brought down Briarcliff.
But there is one story that is unresolved in her interview and that is what will happen when her son finally confronts her. That’s right Johnny Thredson will finally have his moment alone with the woman who tried to abort him and killed his father. What will happen? I ain’t telling you because you have to watch the episode to find out.
But here is a little preview I got on a conference call with Dylan McDermott, “Well, ‘Johnny Thredson,’ obviously he’s a troubled man; so where I hope he goes and where he goes are two different places, but I think he’s got a sole purpose in life and really that is, he feels so scorned by his mother. Everything is about his mother. The reason he’s doing all these horrible things is because he was rejected so harshly by his mother, obviously aborted. His father was a serial killer. His mother aborted him and he still lives. So his whole trajectory in life is really about her.” So you think you know how it ends? You are wrong or are you right?
Tonight at 10p it is the second to last episode of American Horror Story: Asylum on FX and the show speeds us through the late ’60s. The episode starts off with us finding out what happens to Kit Walker, Grace and their son, now that Alma has been returned by the aliens with his other child. Then we skip ahead to Lana Winters, the famous author, and what she is doing with her new life. Has she kept her promises? Finally we find out that Sister Jude is alive, but what shape she is in?
By the time we reach 1970 at least one more person from Briarcliff will not be alive to experience the ’70s.
Finally the episode concludes with what Johnny Thredson’s plan is in present day, and with that we are ready for the season finale. What happens then, we will have to wait a week to find out. And I so can’t wait to see how it all ends for the Asylum… But before we get to that point, we have to find out what happens in the late ’60s to the people of Briarcliff tonight on FX at 10p.
American Horror Story: Asylum only has 2 new more episodes this season after tonight’s show on FX at 10p and they are really starting to wrap things up. After last week’s shocking ending with Dr. Arthur Arden and Sister Mary Eunice experiencing the fires of hell via the crematorium, I can tell you that at least one more person will be joining them tonight. I can also tell you that since they are wrapping things up at least one patient will be discharged. Does that mean that Briarcliff’s secrets will be revealed?
The episode doesn’t only take place in the ’60s, it also takes place in present day and we learn more about the Son of Bloodyface. His fetish will be revealed and it relates to something his mother aka Lana didn’t do for him. Think you know what it is? You won’t, but you won’t have to wait long to find out because it is exposed before the first commercial break.
Tonight’s episode is one of the best series, it really moves forward at the right pace and keep you glued to your seat from beginning to end!
American Horror Story: Asylum is back on FX tonight at 10p and it is this season’s best episode yet. Sister Jude is now a patient at Briarcliffe and she is going to be treated like one. That means some of the torturous means that she inflicted on the patients, when she ran the place, will be done to her. Now that she is one of them, she is going to bond with someone whose life she made hell.
Talking about hell, Sister Mary Eunice’s alter ego really comes out tonight. She does the unthinkable again and again, and she might’ve pushed at least one person too far. Will it be her undoing or will it give her complete power over all?
And then tonight a baby will be born, think you know whose baby it is? You will have to tune in to see in an episode that is starting to wrap things up for the finale!
Oh and since Ryan Murphy Tweeted this little spoiler, I will tell you that two people who have been in every episode this season will not be back next week…
