It’s lucky baby #7 for Alec and Hilaria Baldwin
March 29th, 2022 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: none ]

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have some news to share, and it is news we have heard from the couple many, many, many times before. That is because Mrs. Baldwin is expecting her seventh baby with her husband and his eighth child.

“After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,” she wrote. “We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise. I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids—as you can see, they are super excited! Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times.”

Baby #7 joins Carmen Gabriela, 8, Rafael Thomas, 6, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 5, Romeo Alejandro David, 3½, and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 18 months, and María Lucía Victoria, 13 months, along with Ireland, 26, with whom Alec had with his first wife, Kim Basinger.

Who knew men in their 60s were so fertile, but Baldwin is. Maybe he should go to the doctor and get a vasectomy? Just saying.

Alec Baldwin gives his first sit-down interview to George Stephanopoulos
December 1st, 2021 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: none ]

Back in late October, Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed the cinematographer of the movie he was working on, along with injuring the director with the same bullet. Somehow the actor was handed a gun with live ammunition, and he didn’t know it.

Since then, he has taken part in impromptu chats with the media on the street. But he has not done a sit-down interview since then. Tomorrow night at 8p, he will talk to ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos about that day and the days since.

The anchor said this interview “was the most intense” one he has done in the last 20 years because Baldwin is so raw.

I feel for Baldwin because other people screwed up, leading to him accidentally killing someone. Something that never should have happened after what happened to Jon Erik Hexum and Brandon Lee. However, I hope his hubris doesn’t come out during this interview. It doesn’t help that Stephanopoulos is cold and robotic. That lack of empathy could cause Baldwin to say something he shouldn’t, which brings me back to hubris.

I will be watching this episode. And I will also watch next week’s 20/20, on December 10th, where they take a look at how the investigation into the shooting is going so far.

Alec Baldwin comments on his accidental shooting on the movie set yesterday
October 22nd, 2021 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: none ]

Alec Baldwin is filming a Western in New Mexico that involves guns. Yesterday, while shooting a scene with a prop gun, it somehow went off, killing Halyna Hutchins, Director of Photography, and injuring Director Joel Souza.

Since the news broke, the actor has been silent. This morning he took to social media and wrote, “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Prayers for all involved in yesterday’s horrific accident.

Alec Baldwin accidentally shoots 2, killing 1 with a prop gun on a movie set
October 22nd, 2021 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: 1 ]

Alec Baldwin is in New Mexico filming the movie Rust, which is a Western. As with old school Westerns, the actors use guns for the scenes. Yesterday, Baldwin was handed a prop gun that he thought was filled with blanks. Somehow, the gun went off, killing Director of Photography Halyna Hutchins, 42, and inuring Director Joel Souza, 48, according to Santa Fe New Mexican.

That is the very basics because we don’t know what happened.

Conservatives are blaming Baldwin for the accident and say he should be charged with murder. But he did not load the gun. He did not know what was inside of it and what could’ve been jammed inside that could turn a blank into a bullet.

Then they are reports that the crew was overworked, with little downtime, and would have to travel at least an hour to get home every night. Therefore, they didn’t get enough sleep. Something that IATSE was supposed to eliminate with the new contract and didn’t.

But we don’t know if the person responsible for the prop gun was tired and missed something. We just don’t know the details.

When Brandon Lee died on the set of The Crow, people assumed there was live ammunition in the prop gun. There was not. The gun was full of blanks, but there was a cartridge that was accidentally left inside, turning the blank into a bullet.

That is why I keep saying we need to wait to find out what happened before we throw the blame around. There are so many factors that played into yesterday’s accident, so let’s wait before we become judge, jury, and executioner like they did in the Old West.

Let’s pray for Hutchins husband and son. Let’s pray for Souza. Let’s pray for Baldwin. Let’s pray from the person who was in charge of the gun. Let’s pray for everyone who was on the set. Because none of them will ever be the same.

I seriously don’t understand how in the year 2021 we are still using guns with blanks. Why can’t they just CGI the effect of a gun going off?

Dr. Death will make you question all of your doctors
July 18th, 2021 under Alec Baldwin, Christian Slater, Dawsons Creek, Peacock. [ Comments: none ]

Peacock tells the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson). He is known as Dr. Death for a reason. That reason is the surgeon has killed or maimed over 30 of his patients. They went to him because they thought he could cure them, but he makes them a lot worse.

When neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Christian Slater) find out about him, they decide to do everything in their power to stop him. However, there are going to be a lot of obstacles that will try to stop them. So along with Dallas prosecutor Michelle Shughart (AnnaSophia Robb), they will build a case against Dr. Death.

Will they win when they finally have their day in court? You will just have to stream the 8-part series to find out.

The first four episodes start off slow, but stick with the series because it picks in up in episode five and never slows down again.

The only other complaint I have is I think Slater and Jackson should have switched roles. Slater is just better at playing narcissists and sociopaths.

Other than that, I was intrigued to find how doctors can get literall6y away with murder.

It is the summer; there is nothing else to watch. So why not watch something that will keep you captivated.
