We know that Emma Stone, Natalie Portman and Ruth Negga are all good enough to earn Oscar nominations for their roles last year, but are they good enough to land the lead role in The Goonies? That is what W Magazine wanted to find out when they asked the three of them to read Chunk’s confession scene in the 1985 movie.
How did they do? Let’s just say it is a good thing they were nominated before the Academy saw this video. Could you imagine what their fellow nominee Meryl Streep would’ve done for the audition. Oh wait, she doesn’t have to audition for anything any more because she is Meryl “F*cking” Streep!
