I waited a decade to vote for Gavin Newsom as Governor of California. I approve of the job he is doing, but many others do not. Therefore, they won’t recall him. Because of that, several people are announcing that they will be running for the job.
Today, Caitlyn Jenner threw her hat into the ring. “I’m In,” she declared. “California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality. But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision.”
Who the f*ck is going to vote for her? Who likes her? People who are anti-Kardashian won’t vote for her because she was married to one of them. People that are pro-Kardashian won’t vote for her because she divorced one of them. So who’s left? No one. Even the LGBTQ community is anti-her because she was pro-Trump. So I guess she will get one vote, and that vote will be her own.
It is almost too sad to watch. Almost as sad as Mary Carey thinking she has a better chance this go around than when she ran against the Governator. And I will admit, I voted for him, and I have no regrets for doing so.
