Bret Michaels has suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage according to
People, and he is currently hospitalized in an undisclosed ICU. A source told the magazine that the Poison singer was rushed to the hospital before midnight because he was suffering from a severe headache. Once we he was there, the source added that “After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation.”
It is not known if this is related to his emergency appendectomy on April 12th. Michaels also suffers from diabetes.
He was one of the two guys left on Celebrity Apprentice and you can watch him this Sunday on NBC at 9p.
I am praying that Bret Michaels recovers soon and doesn’t suffer any long-term effects from the hemorrhage.
