Back when Beverly Hills, 90210 aired on Fox originally, it debuted in the summer sometimes. Therefore, it would make sense that the network would pick August 7th to launch the 6-episode event.
Hopefully, by then they will figure out what genre to call BH90210. It is not a revival or reboot because Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling are playing themselves and not their characters. It is not a sequel because The CW already did that. Therefore, what is the mockumentary? Ah, there we go!
