The Simpson‘s Executive Producer, Al Jean, did an interview with
Variety and he said something that has people going crazy. When he was asked what we can expect from the animated sitcom’s 27th season, he told them, “In the premiere, it’s discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it’s an incredible strain on the marriage. Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who’s voiced by Lena Dunham.” Well, the news got everyone talking and people are not happy that The Simpsons are splitting up.
So Bart Simpson took the blackboard today to let people know what’s really going on with his parents, “HOMER AND MARGE ARE NOT SPLITTING UP!”
True fans of the show, could pretty much assume that the legal separation will only last for one episode. Chances are by the end of the premiere, Homer and Marge will get back together, just like they have done in the past. So don’t have a cow, man!
If you want to be upset about anything, it’s the fact that Lena Dunham is going to be on the episode. On a positive note, at least she keeps her clothes on…or does she???
