Hal Linden, star of the classic ’70s sitcom Barney Miller, has joined CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful in a short-term role. Linden will play Jerry Kramer, a mysterious man whom Jackie Marone (Lesley-Anne Down) knew in her sordid past. Trouble begins brewing when Jackie’s son, Nick (Jack Wagner), starts to have puzzling flashbacks of Kramer. Linden first airs on B&B on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
