Kim Basinger has been ordered to appear in court to explain why she should not be held in contempt for allegedly disobeying a judge’s orders concerning ex-husband Alec Baldwin’s visitation time with their daughter.Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert A. Schnider Friday ordered the Academy Award-winning actress to appear in court Oct. 4.Court papers filed by Baldwin allege that in 2005 Basinger ignored court orders and did not let Baldwin know she would be out of town working so that he could take care of 10-year-old Ireland until the actress returned. On one occasion, Basinger also did not tell Baldwin that their daughter was injured and required medical help, according to the actor’s court papers. The girl’s injuries were not specified.Baldwin, 48, and Basinger, 52, separated in 2000 after seven years of marriage. The visitation issue had originally been resolved in March 2004, with the former couple agreeing to split the parenting of their daughter. Messages left for both actors’ representatives early Saturday were not returned.
