A suddenly teary Christie Brinkley has taken a preliminary step in divorcing her philandering hubby – though she may be wavering on going through with a permanent split, the Daily News has learned.The cover girl queen filed a "summons with notice" against Peter Cook, laying the foundation for divorce proceedings, according to the Riverhead County Court Clerk’s office on Long Island.But she hasn’t given the court the green light to deliver the summons, said Cook’s lawyer, Norman Sheresky."He hasn’t been served and I don’t think there are any plans to serve him. This matter is on hold," said Sheresky, adding, "how long it is on hold is up to Ms. Brinkley."The leggy looker filed the summons last Monday, court records reveal, weeks after she learned her 47-year-old husband had bedded his 19-year-old assistant, Diana Bianchi.
