Sylvia Jeffreys spent the day with adventurer Bear Grylls and he made her eat a worm. The 9News reporter was asked to talk about her experience on their Today and the anchor Lisa Wilkinson had a deep question for her. She asked, “Did you swallow? Did you? Or did you spit out?” Jeffreys didn’t know what to do, but laugh in shock. Eventually she did get out, “I swallowed the worm.” To which Wilkinson replied with, “I am impressed that you swallowed. I really am.” The men at the anchor desk couldn’t control their laughter and were having problems keeping their heads up because they were laughing so hard.
Since Wilkinson wouldn’t let it go, Sylvia added, “Is there anything else you would like to say about that story I worked very hard on for many hours?”
I don’t know about you, but it sounds like Jeffreys had another type of worm in her mouth?!?
When it comes to Wilkinson, I wish someone recorded her reaction when she found out what what was so hysterical about her questioning? Preferably the man in her life!
