Amanda Bynes was arrested this evening in NYC and faces a felony count of tampering with evidence, along with charges of reckless endangerment and marijuana possession according to The NY Post. According to several news sources her doorman called the police after he allegedly saw her smoking pot in the lobby. They added when the officers arrived she had already gone back up to her apartment. So they went there to question her and WABC reports there was “a lot of marijuana smoke in the apartment.” As they were questioning her it is reported they noticed a bong and she realized that they did. So she reportedly grabbed it and threw it out the window. Luckily it didn’t hit anyone, but unlucky for her she was arrested for tampering with evidence.
After she was handcuffed The NY Post says she was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for psychiatric evaluation before being taken to the precinct. TMZ says she will be in court in the morning to face the judge.
