February 11th, 2008 under ABC

While the networks are trying to figure out what will air this season if/when the strike ends on Wednesday, ABC is the first to start picking up shows for next season according to MediaWeek!

Among the series gearing up for a new year will be veterans “Brothers & Sisters,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost” and “Ugly Betty.” Among the rookie crowd, the Disney-owned network is planning sophomore seasons for dramas “Dirty Sexy Money,” “Private Practice” and “Pushing Daisies,” as well as sitcom “Samantha Who?”

“The strength of our schedule this fall was unprecedented and speaks for itself,” said Stephen McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to building on that success.”

Hey McPherson, one word…Caveman. Before you pat yourself on the back don't forget that show, it still haunts me.  Can't complain too much about the renewals I just wish Boston Legal was one of them! Please pick up Boston Legal.
