ABC finally made a totally rad decision and picked up
The Goldbergs for a full season. They also made the awesome decision to do the same for The Trophy Wife. But sadly they told Back in the Game to gag them with a spoon after their unlucky 13th episode airs. When it comes to the other new comedy, Super Fun Night, ABC has only ordered 4 new episodes for the show that has been anything but super or fun.
Now back The Goldbergs, this family friendly show has quickly become my favorite new show of the season. In fact, I have watched every episode like 5 times, because I adore it that much. It is also a show that both my father and I can enjoy as a family even though we live on opposite coasts. We each see a little bit of our lives in the show creator’s Adam F Goldberg’s life. That is what makes this comedy so special; it is all of our lives in a half hour. We might not want our dirty laundry aired on television, and thankfully Goldberg doesn’t feel the same way. So make sure to tune every Tuesday at 9p to catch this darling show. That is until ABC finally makes the smart choice and pairs The Goldbergs with Modern Family in the 9p hour on Wednesdays.
Finally when it comes to The Trophy Wife; I wasn’t in love with the pilot, but the show has quickly won me over by being so endearing and sweet.
