Back in 1990, John Wesley Shipp starred in a show called The Flash and played the lead Barry Allen. Twenty-four years later, he joined a show called The Flash, but he was not playing Barry Allen this time. Instead, he plays his father. That meant we would never see him in his Flash costume again.
Or so we thought…
Today, Stephen Amell aka Arrow shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the filming of the Arrowverse: Elseworlds crossover event and there is not one but two Flashes. Although Amell is dressed in the red suit and Grant Gustin is in the black one or basically, they switched secret identities. Why and how all of this is possible, we do not know.
Therefore, we will just have to watch the crossover event that starts with The Flash on December 9th, continues the next night with Arrow and concludes the following night with Supergirl. I do not know about you, but this one photo has me psyched for this super three-night affair.
