Imagine going to San Diego Comic-Con dressed as the Pink Power Ranger, and being asked by the woman who originally wore the pink costume to take a photo! It would be a moment you would never forget and tell everyone about. Right?
Well, for some mystery woman who donned the suit at the convention, it didn’t go over that way. Amy Johnson shared that photo and wrote, “Anyone know who this Pink Ranger is? Stopped and asked for a photo at SDCC. She didn’t recognize me. ”
Could you imagine that cosplayer’s reaction when she finds out she didn’t recognize the person whom she was dressed as? I am sure she will feel a whole bunch of emotions, like feeling dumb because of the missed opportunity, excited because the actress sought her out on social media, and wowed that it actually happened.
Have you ever had an interaction with a celebrity and didn’t know it was them until it was too late? When I first moved here, I stayed at a long-stay hotel and had breakfast with Robin Givens for a few days. But I didn’t realize it was her until my last day there, but I acted like I didn’t know who she was. Now, I am friends with some of her former co-stars. Funny how life turns out.
