Long before Netflix used CGI (scream) to de-age actors in the Oscar-losing (too soon?) film The Irishman, Paul Reubens told Conan O’Brien they did it to him. Since the actor is not as young as he used to be, he did not want kids to see his older face in 2016’s Pee Wee’s Big Holiday. Therefore, they went into the editing room, used some CGI (scream), and made him look 30 years younger.
Was the CGI (scream) expensive? Reubens said it would have been cheaper to get five or six facelifts. If there is ever a sequel, I am sure they will have him go under the knife instead of through the cut.
Why isn’t there a sequel? Oh yeah, it cost too much money to make him look like he is in his 30’s again with CGI (scream).
