Jimmy Fallon came up with a new way to surprise people at 30 Rock when they came to visit the infamous building. He waited outside the elevator doors and surprised them when they opened.
Although, that is kind of boring. What would make it more exciting? Have someone else with him. How about someone like Michelle Obama? That will do it.
When the doors first open, they lightly scream in excitement to see the Tonight Show host. Then when the former First Lady comes out of hiding, the cheers become ear piercing. Which had to hurt Fallon’s feelings because they were noticeably happy to see her. But then again, it could be because they expect to see her. Him not so much.
When it comes to the bit, I hope he does this more often because it is truly sweet.
